I was being pedantic! And it proves my point what matters is the result. Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon to complain about Arsenal brand of football, yet you’ve acknowledged right there people still celebrate the win regardless.

So as Greig points out the only people that should care about it are Arsenal fans and I reckon they’re pretty happy.

Reading are playing terrible but that same terrible brand of football has taken us from a relegation scrap to the cusp of play off spots. So as a Reading fan crap or not I’m entertained.

I’ll celebrate a boring win more with a sigh of relief than dancing on the terraces. If it doesn’t get the blood flowing, it isn’t exciting. I even skipped a number of Pulis’ Boro matches because they were mind numbingly boring.

I suppose, to be fair to your analysis, different strokes for different folks.

The Arsenal games I have watched this season have not actually been boring.
No team is going to play fast paced attacking football every game and win 5-0.

They might score from a lot of set pieces but I see that as a positive and comes from good work on the training ground.
Would that be the rugby training ground 😂

Playing their home games on an artificial pitch is a major advantage over visiting teams but to reach this stage they are obviously playing well away also. Good to see different teams challenging.

If Arsenal get drawn to play their CL qualifier on 17th March then their home match on 15th against Everton will have to be rearranged, with Arsenal also still being in the Caraboa and FA Cup the fixture is likely to be moved in to mid Apr.🤷‍♂️

So this will mean due to international breaks and being crap, Everton will only have 1 game between 4th March and 10th April! 39 days!😱

We have seen over the years a number of unfancied clubs have a very good run in the CL and they are doing it without any real stars as well

I remember every year Rosenberg used to battle their way to the KO’s

They are certainly a team that’s going to be fresh and dangerous to face

It was a bit like that but I found it intriguing as well.
I’m surprised they continued with it every time.
I do like the tactical aspect and some like to look down on those that score a lot of set piece goals I admire it.

It’s one of the things you can really practice on the training field and the fact everyone talks about Arsenal and set pieces is great for them,
People say this team won’t be remembered if they win the league but they might be remembered as being a great set-piece team and that is a good thing for them

Oh they will be remember as everyone else will need to moan about how they only won the league with set pieces!

But they’ve not been as dull as everyone makes out, they’ve played what’s in front them and that’s all anyone can do. The effort that goes into their corners and tactics in itself is impressive especially when most teams turn up to stop them playing. Yet they’ve shown like against Spurs 4-1 winners that if you open up they will attack with pace and skill to tear you apart. Pretty much epitomises what a title winning side should be with the ability to both win pretty and ugly if required.

Wenger’s Team had the title of Boring, Boring, Arsenal and their fans rejoiced by claiming it as their song, along with 1 nil to the Arsenal…

That was George Graham's Arsenal that was considered boring.

Any shouts like that during Wenger's tenure would simply have been ironic chants from their own fans, when they were playing entertaining football and had players like Henry, Bergkamp, Overmars, Pires, etc scoring goals for fun.
