No one said they won’t be the “best team” if they win the league

That’s not what people are saying
No instead you’ve all been calling them the worst team to win or In your words the unbearables. But let’s not argue over the exact derogatory words instead of saying but we didn’t say they weren’t the best team!

All that’s happening here is a few of us filling this thread going over the same ground because as always Utd and Liverpool fans bias can’t accept someone else doing better.

On that note I’ll bow out of this pointless back and forth, but what I will say finally as a neutral is I hope Arsenal do win it just to see everyone lose their heads over the worst team to win the league 🤣

No the rivalries don’t create the brand of football. The manager creates it with tactics and football has evolved beyond 4-4-2 and gung ho going at each other. You’re even proving my point with your final paragraph, in that you’re going credit to other team of the past and skewing the argument to prove your point that it was better back in the day.

At no point have I said football wasn’t better I’ve stated everyone it’s bloody boring now. But to get back in track to the actual point, Boring or not Arsenal currently lead the league as joint top scorers with a team (City) that has the most prolific striker in World football. But all that’s remember is how boring they are from fans below them!

Neither Klopp or Pep played 4-4-2 🤷‍♂️ no idea why you are going on about 4-4-2

And yes the football was better for the 5/6 seasons those two were battling it out across multiple competitions , it was better when Man Utd and Arsenal were going at it

Yes the football was better than over the last couple of seasons

That’s the whole point people will still remember not just the trophies won but also the brand of football they tried to play for the majority of the season

This season if Arsenal it will because they were better than anyone else picking up points - but no one outside Arsenal will highlight them as a team that can be remembered for their brand of football

Seriously, entertainment is what it’s about.

I’d liken it to watching an Oscar winning film. The production may walk away with an academy award, but if it doesn’t appeal to my taste I’ll still be turning off before the first commercial break.
Then You’re setting yourself up for disappointment as we all know the only
Films that win Oscar’s tend to be a borefest and overly long crap. Bit like watching England play to be fair 🤔

"Because Utd and Liverpool fans bias can't except someone else doing better?"

And we are the ones being bitter? :ROFLMAO:

I didnt say anything about them being the worse team to win ?

Said the fans will be unbearable - watch AFTV snippets for any proof of that

And that their brand of football will make them forgettable

It’s got nothing to do with “bias”

The last few years has seen a better PL and the reason I say that is because other teams have had to find a way to close the gap on City.

LPool fans will remember last season’s team because it’s the team Klopp built and Arteta’s Arsenal will be remembered (if they win the title) because it’ll be the first title in over 20 years.
The team “Klopp built” But Slot won a title with.
Klopp finished 3rd the previous season.

I’ve made my points but as always you have to be contrary and continually post your always right opinion to have the final word and seem better than others. Hmm much like a lot of Liverpool fans 🤔

All my points about 442 etc were in response to your bygone days posts of better football. But yes call me out a now a few pages later in hope nobody notices you have gone full circle from saying the unbearables to acknowledging Arsenal would be the best team with most points which was my original argument to you.

Talking of Oscar worthy performances maybe you should get a nomination for twisting things to make you seem always right. Just like my last post you highlighted the worst team to win and claim innocence but didn’t highlight the unbearables part! Which is the exact words you did use! 🙄

On that note I won’t respond further I’ve got to wash my hair.

Must be something lost in translation somewhere

It seemed the point about the current brand of football from Arsenal was clear - it’s just not entertaining for many and years in the future it wont be a team remembered by many

Wow. That second goal from Bodo in Milan was something special. Proper football, and fully deserving of this scoreline.

Even more unbelievable given, bar a couple of friendlies against relative unknown opposition, they have only played Champions League football since the end of November.

Joint top scorers in the league and standalone lowest conceded. Seems entertaining enough to me.

That’s just typical - I turn over to the Newcastle match and that dries up and the goals fly in during the Inter match 😂

Unless of course those goals are from set pieces

Arsenal have scored more goals from set pieces than any other team across Europes top leagues , think own goals is also one of their top scorers - think it’s 45% of their goals ( set pieces and own goals )

That’s doesn’t make it exciting or entertaining

I watched Pulis’ Boro. They finished well up the division but it was the worst football I saw at the Riverside for donkey’s years. The fans hated it, and I’d put money on it that it got him the sack.

So think that City maybe playing Bodo Glimt in the next round - they already played in the group stage with Bodo winning

They have a population of just 42k ?!

Stadium is only 8k

What a rise they have had
