For a new ref to the Prem thought the one in the Everton match was good

The red card was red for pulling his hair , you don’t get away with that

And Grealish - shows his IQ at times , what did he expect

Shows how brain dead Agbonlahor is when he is saying that the ref was desperate to send him off - he should be vocally criticising the player not the ref

Well, if any of you are even remotely interested in stats (I’m not), then a glance at those from the Burnley v United game will merely underline what the non-believers amongst us already know - the only stat which matters is the scoreline.

The numbers are so heavily weighted in United’s favour it’s almost laughable. But it’s goals that matter. Nothing else.

Was two sharp finishes from Sesko - that might help him

The set up looked a lot better but it’s still someone in the middle of the park not picking up runners etc

And looks like Arsenal have won it , City can’t find any wins

Casemiro was asleep for Burnley’s opener. One of the most shocking bits of defending I’ve seen in a long time and, given our defending over the last few years, that’s some accolade.

Even the second goal he was poor. Martinez will get most blame as he was the last player in move to make a mistake.

But previous to that, the Burnley player in midfield had all the time in the world to decide what to do, as Casemiro was frozen shadowing him, scared stiff of closing him down in case he got past him. We need much better than that, opposition attacking moves should be cut out earlier much more frequently

It’s been the key issue for a while - the defence is left exposed way too often by a central midfield which lacks the legs and/or awareness to provide the cover.

I actually think Casemiro has had a half decent season up until now. But last night it looked like the run of games in which he has played a full ninety minutes has really caught up with him.

It’s that area of the pitch which urgently needs sorting. Has been for a long time.

The thing what he says re teams change there styles is correct. I have said that for a couple of seasons. But seriously he wants other teams to play open football against Liverpool, City, Arsenal. He is deluded. Last nights game for City. It was there third draw on the spin. It is up to City and Liverpool Etc to break down those defences. Teams have cottoned on that you have to defer in numbers and hit on the break.
I think Mr Slot needs to give his head a wobble.

The problem is, as Utd fans we tend to get our positives when a player has been "OK" . As long as they don't put in a shocker for once, we'll give them credit for their 6/10 performance.

It would be lovely if we could get to a time when multiple players, including our midfielders, are consistently very good to excellent. Sometimes I think we are close to getting there, and all it takes is a few lucky wins, improved confidence, and that will maybe spark something good. On the other hand, it also feels like we are a loss or two from despair. We've been treading water for so long, against the weaker sides. Only 2 points from 4th place (could be 5 after tonight), but only 4 points ahead of 13th. And we have City and Arsenal next.

Watching Hwang every week, he's that bad you could say that was a genuine attempt to get the ball. Dreadful footballer. Would've helped us to send him off.
Do you think you can hold onto Mane in this window?

It looks like Strand Larsen is on his way, preparing for the Championship already? I'm not being sarky with this comment, do you think that is how they are looking at it?
