Bizarre. 5 mins of injury time. Burnley take a while taking throw ins. Then the ref takes time to book a Burnley player for delaying Lammens taking a free kick

Then blows for full time just after the 5 minutes are up

Seems time wasting is worth it, if you are happy to get a yellow card

Nice when someone can be subjective when talking about their own team, refreshing.
Need to speak to the person who does the official match reports for Everton:

“Everton were reduced to 10 men with eight minutes remaining when, after a lengthy VAR review, Keane was adjudged to have committed "an act of violent conduct" after touching the hair of Tolu Arokodare as the pair competed in an aerial duel.

😂😂😂😂

If Leeds continue to play like that they wont be in any danger of going down. Demonstrated to teams around them how to fight and for a good portion of the game played with power and pace and caused so many problem, forcing Newcastle into misplaced passes on two occasions leading directly to goals.

Somewhat prophetic that Newcastle win in a topsy turvy match 4-3 with a 102nd minute winner, on the day that Kevin Keegan's family announce he has cancer.

Schar's injury doesn't look good and with the fixtures we have in January we are getting really stretched at the back. Defensive reinforcements, even if just a loan deal, need to be delivered as a priority in the immediate future.

Great game to watch.
You knew there was going to be a winner but could have gone either way.
Might not of been the best quality but for drama passion and 2 teams having a go at each other it was a cracker.

Got to feel a bit sorry for Leeds not getting anything from the game though

Well, if any of you are even remotely interested in stats (I’m not), then a glance at those from the Burnley v United game will merely underline what the non-believers amongst us already know - the only stat which matters is the scoreline.

The numbers are so heavily weighted in United’s favour it’s almost laughable. But it’s goals that matter. Nothing else.

Don't know if Kobi was deliberately wearing a baggy shirt or if he's been reading our mince pie thread

Young Lacey almost did the business a couple of times.

I wonder if the days of Academy players breaking into first team are indeed long gone?
