I think they will do OK. They have Senesi ready to replace Huijsen, bought Soler in January ready to replace Kerkez. I think Semenyo would be a big loss for them though. The unsung heroes at Bournemouth are Kluivert and Christie, hang on to those two and build around them.

Kluivert is certainly blossoming , they also should get their full season out of Evanlison as well

Huijsen was massive for them though and Kerkez as well going to be big to hit their levels

Think if he does well then Iraola could be a target for some big Spanish clubs

I'd probably never really heard of Brentford before they got in PL. I'd guess Thomas Frank had played a pretty pivotal role in getting them to PL, keeping them there and being praised for their football.

What more does a manager of a club like Brentford have to do to be considered a good candidate for a club with more money (and potential to be higher up in PL)?

If Spurs are a step too high up the ladder for him, where could he go to test himself at a higher level? Or do people just believe Brentford is his pinnacle, and he doesn't warrant a chance at a club with more money?

Performance

Id be after him or the Fulham manager .. not the manager who's 1 point above their current
Who made this and why is it 65 games?? Obviously Brentford did struggle a bit last season when they lost Toney and Mbuemo and Wissa hadn't really kicked on yet like they did this season. Overall their squad is poorer and cheaper than ours as well. I don't see Iraola as the better option after only one season in the top flight.

Iraola has had 2 full seasons at Bournemouth

I’m not arsed which comp were in at this point, but Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, wrote to the FA to say we should be docked points for breaking the rules, which is what happened, and told us and Everton to “suck it up and move on because you broke the rules, so deal with the consequences”….

This is no different.

Unfortunately football is a money game, and anything you can do to improve business and make more money, you’re going to explore.

I just want to hear some transfer news to be fair. Don’t care about much else 😂

Not it's ridiculous because your owner litterally is on the board at another club

But he’s no longer a majority share holder and moved ownership to a blind trust, as per the UEFA rules. Had we made the champions league, we’d be above board.

It’s not illegal to have multi-club ownership, but you have to have the correct paperwork in place.

Palace’s ownership didnt make sure this was the case before the deadline, and thus must accept whatever punishment they receive.

The rules are ridiculous, a trust fund is a complete cop out . He still has influence

I think the 65 games is to show that they’ve been bad for over a season and half,it’s not just this season.

I could be wrong & have no interest in a big debate on this 😬😉

Which clubs wrote to the FA ? And about what ?

There were a number of clubs (in the lower half of the league) who made complaints to the premier league (not the fa, been a long day) about potential psr breaches for Everton and Forest and ensuring the correct punishment was adhered to.

Didn’t both clubs get points deductions anyway ?

Multiple club ownerships was also going to have the potential to cause issues

UEFA though have allowed work around and back doors as usual

The owner should have a choice - pick which club you want in the comp - can’t have both

Maybe you guys can poach him when you sack Potter in a few months, seeing as Moyes is taken this time.

Big Sam will be getting ready

Potters record was very similar to the manager they sacked , suspect the boos will start around last September and West Ham will need to rely on the three promoted teams being rubbish

Need to rely on Bowen again

Yea but everyone was crying over making sure we were both fairly punished before the “independent committee” had reviewed everything

I agreed the rules are nonsense.

Simple way would be to ban multi club ownerships but I don’t think that would be right

Just need to be very clear - an owner can’t own two clubs in the same comp
