My first thought was that the driver had had some sort of medical episode eg heart attack or similar.

But reports are saying a man has been detained….which would suggest a medical episode was not the cause.

Hope there are no serious injuries.

Yeah same,but would be a miracle if no one was seriously injured there.

It’s not on the route but about 500yds away parallel to it.

Just been on about it to my daughter. I think the parade route was 10 miles long. It would be nigh on impossible to safely block all roads to stop any plank doing that. Thoughts with all those affected

It’s a very wide road that runs right down to the Liver Building.
Quite a hill as well and would be blocked to traffic at the bottom at the Strand.

There must have been a lot of people there it was very busy.

Unfortunately, with those three going up and Southampton, Ipswich and Leicester coming down, Middlesbrough’s mileage goes up.

After losing the Europa League final, no European competitions of any sort and wide reports of them being in serious and unprecendented financial trouble as a result of missing out on the £100m payday of Champions League.

Couple of days later, Fabrizio is reporting Cunha deal for £62.5m very close and advanced talks with Bryan Mbeumo, plus heavy links to Liam Delap.

Meanwhile Villa probably have to sell someone because they have a big wage bill.

How does this all add up?

Puzzling isn't it....When Sir Jim admitted directly in an interview that the club were over £300m in debt.

I can only assume thy are speculating to accumulate and hoping that the sales of some players this season will offset the £150m they are, apparently, looking to spend on about 2-3 players.
