Not sold on Dorgu yet. Seems to lack a final killer pass or shot. Thoughts ?

I do like him. Lots of energy, good runs, and makes the left side a lot wider for us. So much better than the other full backs we had, who are much more defensive (not including Shaw).

But, I agree, is final ball is very poor. That being said, do his team mates get into beautiful positions for him to deliver a killer ball? Not really. He is young, so I hope that his final ball and decision making will get much better, but also hope his team mates find more space and give him easier balls to deliver

I guess they decided that if other clubs will be making a mini fortune playing in World Club Cup, they should make money in other ways

The Laws of Football state that a goalkeeper is considered to be in control of the ball when it is between his hands, they do not say that he has to be holding the ball.

When Rogers played the ball it certainly appeared to be between the keeper's hands and if so the goal was rightly disallowed

That’s like saying the ball went between his hands on the way to the back of the net. At one point he “ was in control” though not actually touching the ball. stupid rule. And yet no onr has actually said that. What they have said is that “ VAR could not get involved as the ref blew the whistle”. No one added but the ref made the right call anyway.

And what? Utd were celebrating 20 titles years ago.
In saying that Liverpool city centre was the busiest I'd seen for years. Brought over 700 people on each of my trains into Lime Street earlier and unfortunately had to leave hundreds behind on platforms.
Hopefully local businesses will fill their coffers

Seen it too.

My first thought was that the driver had had some sort of medical episode eg heart attack or similar.

But reports are saying a man has been detained….which would suggest a medical episode was not the cause.

Hope there are no serious injuries.
