He’s not the worst keeper in the top two divisions. Don’t exaggerate.

You didn’t say just the Premier League. You referred to the top two divisions. Which is an exaggeration however you seek to defend it.

Top of the league with theirs? He was when he was in the premier league however he is nowhere near as bad as onana. Whoever signed off on that signing should be sacked

Nowhere near as bad as Onana? Paul, Meslier is awful. He was awful when Leeds came up, awful when they were in the Premier League, when he was one of the main reasons they went down, and has remained largely awful since. I can’t believe it’s taken this long for Daniel Farke to drop him. Leeds are top in spite of Meslier, certainly not because of him.
Onana has been bang average. He’s had some decent runs, notably around the start of this season, and put in some good performances, but he simply cannot perform consistently in the Premier League. He doesn’t command his area, has a tendency to parry the ball in front of him and into the danger area, and makes far too many mistakes.
But don’t undermine your argument by suggesting he’s possibly the worst keeper in the top two divisions. Because, much as you doubtless want it to be true, with respect that’s absolute rubbish.

I’m not saying he’s not. Based on his nearly two seasons at United, and on his overall record and performances during that time, I’d say he’s been a waste of money. I was happy to give him time, as I am with all signings. But my patience has long since run out.
The worst in the Premier League? I’d say he’s probably not far off.

That's the thing it's the money for me. 60 million? You expect so much more. We paid 11 million for areola. Sure he has a few bad calls and isn't that commanding of his area but he cost 11 million. Expectations of him are much lower
To think of all the keepers united have let go over the years, Henderson for one. Surely he was better than onana has been

Onana rested before the big European game 
He was trouble. Decent enough keeper, albeit he was easily crowded out at corners and set pieces. But he was a disruptive influence.

Love seeing the Utd keeper comparisons. With the defences in front of some of those keepers. I would be above Onana.
