they did highlight quite a number of empty seats tbfI’m surprised so many walked in to begin with.

He's played 27 out of 30 league games
6 out of 7 Carabao Cup games
2 out of 3 FA cup games
Where are the quarter of games missed?
I suspect rested in the cup games he missed. Don't know it but wouldn't be surprised. Was Isak injured for every game he missed? Or was he rested for any?
But there have been strikers down the years that have injury issues. Owen is one that comes to mind but there will have been more recent ones as well. Surely given the games played especially the few seasons Newcastle have had it was bound to impact players. You can't expect players to player twice a week and then have internationals on top and not pick up injuriesI was talking about his time at Newcastle as a whole. Although as I said he's been a fitness doubt and not fully fit for quite a few of games he's played this season. Newcastle have risked him as Wilson has also been out. He's gradually increased his number of games each season so he's definitely improving. All I'm saying is when his value is over £100m buyers will look a lot closer at fitness concerns.

Stand corrected LTMissed two cup games this season - Broken toe ( which was his main injury this season ) , Hamstring the other
Don’t think they have had the squad to rest him with Wilson out
To be fair....Newcastle haven't been great either....seem to be slow and lethargic as though the game was won from the 2nd minute. Most of the issues Leicester have caused us have been partly of our own making. Lots of occasions when the ball has been played forward and the Leicester defenders (especially Coady) have been sharper and nipped in front of the Newcastle player who is waiting for the ball to arrive.Leicester aren’t the best, are they?
Agreed, but it’s not like he’s Reece James when it comes to injuries.I was talking about his time at Newcastle as a whole. Not an easy run in for Newcastle as I highlighted so a good match to rest a few surelyTo be fair....Newcastle haven't been great either....seem to be slow and lethargic as though the game was won from the 2nd minute. Would like to see a little bit more pace injected in to the game and a bit more urgency.
Isak looks a bit off it....if there are any niggles with him I'd like to see him withdrawn at half time.
Still, 3-0 away from home when you are playing at 70% isn't too shabby.
Definitely a problem early on. Maybe, as Homer pointed out, they've adjusted his training better. He played more last season compared to his first, more again this year. The PL is a physically demanding league, perhaps he needed to adjust his training to suit?I was talking about his time at Newcastle as a whole. Newcastle will be fine if teams are put off by that price tag. They don't want him to go but if he's off then they will want to ring every pound out of the team buying. He has to be one of the prime strikers in European football right now, based on record and age.

How strong is the Portuguese league compared to the PL though. Sometimes these figures get skewed by the quality of opposition. How many teams on that league would be title contenders and Benfica and Sporting aside who has done it in Europe regularly?Oh he will go for over £100mil this summer imo - it won’t be the £150mil reported
There isn’t a big depth of top class strikers that have scored at a decent level
Lots of noise about players like
Gyökeres who has scored well in Portugal
Sesko in Leipzig
David for a free maybe a bargain
And someone like Delap who looks like he has a great future at £40mil could be a bargain
Got to feel sorry for the fans though. Nothing to get excited about, a manager who seems devoid of ideas or able to lift a side and a team that are so far out of their depth
