Wait, you live in Southampton but support Sunderland?? You couldn't be much further away. 😄 Or are you getting your red & white stripes confused?

Originally from the north east and my dad’s side of the family have all been Sunderland fans. My grandad had a season ticket pretty much his whole life, when I was growing up he knew all the staff really well so I was regularly in and around the training ground whenever I visited him.

I don’t think you’d get that kind of access now.
 
It looked like he hit the ball with both feet. Depending on the camera angle, I can't tell which foot it hit first, although that would be irrelevant anyway.

On the pitch, it looks like it was more noticeable by player reaction. Apparently Courtois was the one that informed / reminded the referee, the Madrid players on touchline looked to suggest it, and not sure Alvarez's reaction was one of relief or that he knew he had hit it with both feet and worried VAR might spot it.
