Still not as bad a defence of the league as others including Chelsea in the top five twice. To go from winning the league, then spending close to £500m

But surely that’s got to be the worst transfer window .Still not as bad a defence of the league as others including Chelsea in the top five twice.
How much have you spent not including things you have sold to yourselves.?
But give them time.![]()
But surely that’s got to be the worst transfer window .
£450m+ and have any been a success?
“The Liverpool way”I'd have to agree. It's not just the poor season but the poor season on the top of all that spend. Funny how it doesn't seem to get mentioned so much. Imagine City or Utd spending that and falling so far...
I would say Hugo Ekitike has done fairly well, especially when you consider the team have been underperforming for much of the season. But surely that’s got to be the worst transfer window .

And yet benched him for today's gameI would say Hugo Ekitike has done fairly well, especially when you consider the team have been underperforming for much of the season.
Yeah I’m thinking that wil be with Wednesday in mind. And yet benched him for today's game
He's had a great season, been a brilliant buy. We set the bar higher for legend status thoughIs Dewsbury Hall the signing of the season? Everton Legend! ( well everyone else is a legend nowadays)
Alex Iwobi & Richarlison? He's had a great season, been a brilliant buy. We set the bar higher for legend status though![]()
Nah,he’s been really poor considering his transfer fee.I would say Hugo Ekitike has done fairly well, especially when you consider the team have been underperforming for much of the season.
In what you would call modern times, the 60's and 80's. We would obviously add Dixie Dean to the mix from earlier days but otherwise those two eras. For me, no one since gets legendary status since that last 80's era.Alex Iwobi & Richarlison?
I would say most of yours would probably be from the team in the 80s
I would politely disagree with the opinion he has been really poor.Nah,he’s been really poor considering his transfer fee.
Hes part of the team that have been underperforming..
I would agree although a few might get into the fans favourite with people like big Dunc and maybe even Pickford and Coleman. In what you would call modern times, the 60's and 80's. Not on 8 year contracts though like some Chelsea flops ( Mudryk)But surely that’s got to be the worst transfer window .
