I'd have to agree. It's not just the poor season but the poor season on the top of all that spend. Funny how it doesn't seem to get mentioned so much. Imagine City or Utd spending that and falling so far...

I would say Hugo Ekitike has done fairly well, especially when you consider the team have been underperforming for much of the season.

In what you would call modern times, the 60's and 80's. We would obviously add Dixie Dean to the mix from earlier days but otherwise those two eras. For me, no one since gets legendary status since that last 80's era.

I would politely disagree with the opinion he has been really poor.
He has been part of the team though

I would agree although a few might get into the fans favourite with people like big Dunc and maybe even Pickford and Coleman.

Not on 8 year contracts though like some Chelsea flops ( Mudryk)
