If I could just reverse that, how many pages would we have had on here if Richarlison had done that to VVD. VVD Did what he did.He got away with it. But this episode typifies what is wrong with football.

Richarlison is a cheat.
VAR is not fit for purpose when officials are incompetent.
Now don’t get me wrong we all want a return to the old days of a good competitive game VVD and others being tough in the tackle etc etc. Especially in a semi final. Get a tackle in early etc. But that challenge highlighted to be a lot of things that is wrong in football.
I can think of 115 more.

Just watched it again a few times.This
Richarlason has his arm across VVD.
VVD puts his body weight into his arm to shrug him off but he’s got his arm bent not straight like Richarlason.
He dosnt swing his elbow he’s just using his physicality.
It dosnt look good but it’s a yellow at most and certainly a foul.
Refs seem to be letting players battle for the ball a bit more lately.

Re Forest. I’d have zero problem in admitting when we’ve been lucky with a shocker of a decision. Off the top of my head, we drew 1-1 to Burnley last season and they had a winner wrongly chalked off for a handball in the build up. We got lucky with that one.
(And we repeatedly paid for it for the rest of the season!

If we get a clear red card then have no issues admitting it
And when we have had a “shocker” of a decision go in our favour

I suspect that could be his best position. He can play further back with Ugarte, but his ability in possession might be better used behind striker.
Bruno has played behind striker or in the more defensive position. Maybe not his best position, defensive. Especially if he goes walkabout. But has been played there a fair bit
