I was frankly shocked at the Spurs performance. Yes I know they have injury issues but being 1-0 up after the first leg, I found it astonishing their lack of desire for the game....so slow and lethargic, no pace to their game and constantly being caught in possession. Yes the Liverpool press was quite intense but even so, Spurs looked like they were just going through the motions and as said earlier, their passing was utterly atrocious.

Go down in a semi final by all means...but at least go down fighting.

Not sure what Ange said to them before the game but, whatever it was, it wasn't what was needed.

Said to my lad, do Spurs realise they are playing a cup semi final?

Liverpool were excellent. Spurs were shockingly bad.

That was horrendous from Spurs no sign of Ange ball in that game thought I was watching Conte again.

Even with all the injuries there’s no excuse for that garbage, sit them in a darkened room and make them watch the effort and passion the Newcastle players put in, on a loop for 24 hours.

Easiest £1k-ish I've ever made.

Liverpool HT/FT at 1.66
Liverpool to go through in 90 mins at 1.5
Liverpool -2 at 2.4

Plus a silly bet builder with Liverpool goals, scorers, corners and winning margin.

Wish I'd done more but it seemed too good to be true.

You can't be too harsh on Spurs as it was predictable and Liverpool played their best team. Europes best and have been battered at Anfield with a bigger lead. Spurs are miles off it with all their injuries.

I stuck £2 on Spurs to win, with most corners in each half, at 500/1. I sort of put aside it was Spurs, and saw them as a team desperate to get to a Cup Final, all this hype about Ange Ball, and they'd just go for it. Maybe catch Liverpool on the back foot.

I'd have been more likely to win a bet by going for a Liverpool win and all their outfield players to score

Spurs were just abysmal.

Manchester United are set to be more than £27million down on their anticipated Premier League prize money for this season, sources have told Football Insider.

Shouldn’t that be called turning up money rather than prize money 😳

Irrespective of the fact Spurs were clearly rubbish.

How do Liverpool get decisions in their favour in literally every game?

Van Dijk getting away with that elbow… Arguably the 4th red card he’s got away with this season alone.

I get entirely the desire to elbow Richarlison in the throat! However, unless VVD has tourettes of the elbow, there is no way that was an accident. Sure Richarlison made a meal of it AND held a body part not inflicted but he did also hold his throat.

Any other player and LPL would have posted 10 Twitter links showing the elbow 🤷‍♂️

Bad reffing is the answer!

Same as Bergval not getting a second yellow in the first leg ,then scoring the winner.

VVD gave the officials a decision to make, but Richarlason is a blatant cheat trying to get him carded holding his face when the contact was on his chest.
Maybe that had something to do with it?
