Finally sacked O'Neil, just hope it's not too late.
The club clearly tried to stick with him but the last few matches made it impossible. It isn't just losing games, the players (some) have lost their discipline and you just aren't getting any luck. Penalties not given, multiple own goals including yesterday's pinball goal. The sack had to happen.

I actually think Moyes would be perfect for this situation but you reckon he has been sounded out and turned it down 🤷. You need 'that type' of manager, just to bring some control back to the club.

Surely it should be against any part of the body that you can use to score a goal from?
Under the current system, where they spend "hours" messing about drawing lines down from the armpit/nose/backside/knee/chest to the ground, on a 2D screen representation of the situation being decided upon, I do not believe for one minute that they know exactly how far downwards to draw the vertical line so it intersects with the pitch, in order to provide a fair comparison with a body part that is at pitch level. The line from Peter Crouch's armpit is going to be a lot longer than needs to be drawn for Dennis Wise....its guesswork at best.

For that reason alone the measurement criteria should be the position of the feet touching the ground.

Also, one of the biggest battles on the pitch is the timing of a strikers run and a defender "stepping up". It is perfectly feasible when a striker to be running to wards goal that his natural body lean may mean his upper torso is goalside of the defender, whilst his feet are "well onside"...my personal view is that that is a well timed run, and should be rewarded.

Just my opinion.

The pinball goal shows all that’s wrong imo.

The players ( four I think) are in the six yard box hampering the keeper and not out challenging for the ball.
It shows a massive confidence loss when all the players retreat to the goal line and not marking players coming onto the 18 yrd line.

He should've gone way before the players started to lose discipline, we had that solid run of games at the start of the season and now we've wasted the easier run on a manager out of his depth.

I have watched some of the games and the refs have been less than generous to Wolves.

The loss of discipline is really poor.
When you’re suspended you can’t help the team.
So the players Havnt helped.

Not to go all Matt LeTissier conspiracy theorist, we were the club that tried to get rid of VAR in the summer and got outvoted 19-1, and we've continued to get some dreadful decisions.

Correct on players not helping, we've got international players behaving like kids, whole club's rotten at the moment.

Carlos Corberan and John Eustace both mentioned now.

I know nobody cares but just humour me, I'll be in the Championship thread in a few months.

It is a shame that it’s happened as I think he can be a very good manager

Not sure who they go for now but it needs to be someone who has experience in the Prem

Right I’d say “ just incompetence not conspiracy “ most teams have had dreadful decisions.
