Needs to look at the midfield two of Casemiro and Eriksen. Casemiro, in particular, looks like he’s towing a caravan. No pace in there at all.

I think Casemiro is supposed to drop infront but he’s just been out paced. Hutchinson sailed past him for the goal.

I’m content in as much as this will certainly not be the manager’s chosen starting lineup. As he said before the game, he’s gone with the players he has had the opportunity to work with in training in the short time he has been at the club.

Totally agree and he obviously shouldn't be judged until he's had plenty of games to bed in the new system.
It'll be a while before he works out who hasn't got the intelligence to adapt.
