Very impressive second half from Newcastle. Looked very good, really quite comfortable. When this was meant to be about Forest going 3rd, that's a cracking day for the Toon.
We looked leggy 2nd half. Good performance from Newcastle, and bloody Isak always scores against us 😂

Probably the kick up the arse we needed. Not like we were going to go the rest of the season without dropping points and everyone but Liverpool are dropping points, so not going to panic

Good day out at the City Ground as always but disappointing result.

Pleased for Murillo getting his first goal. Hopefully first of many.

We just weren’t on it today but taking nothing away from Newcastle - deserved the win.

Onwards - after yet another bloody international break! 🙄

Agree with the sentiment but I'm hopeful that during this break someone will try to convince Sean Dyche to try a plan B, ie keep the ball, pass the ball to someone else wearing blue, allow players to cross the halfway line and help the CF. I'm not overly optimistic 😞

Arsenal were a bit unlucky today, definitely the better team and with City looking so poor they've still got a great chance.

The problem is I think they're missing a top left winger and a striker. It cost them the league last season and they've done nothing to improve those areas.

I always win a trophy in my second year mate ... 🤣🤣🤣

Harsh. Spurs goal will be to finish Top 4 and they're close despite some really poor results like today and at Brighton. They play good attacking football and don't spend silly amounts.

I think they'll go close with one of the cups this season.

He may play good football at times but he never has a plan b. He doesn't know how to make his team defend a lead. He's a fraud

Perspective is a funny thing.

On one hand, they are close to the top 4. On the other, they are only one point ahead of Man Utd, and we know what people think of their chances to be a Top 4 club.

I think a lot of pundits bigged up Ange last year, often as a direct comparison to ETH and referencing the buzz words style of play. Personally, I was never convinced Ange was all that special, and we'll wait and see how time treats him. Maybe I'll be wrong.

A great chance of what ?

They messed up the league when they were miles ahead , they have no depth because they have sold it all due to Lego head not playing them , he flogs the same people week in week out

Arsenals battle is for top 4 now

You don't get top four by handing out points to teams like Palace and Ipswich. Every single team knows how to play against us, defend the middle and counter attack down the flanks since the full backs won't be there. Every result is a coin toss.

Just looking at the table, it's very tight between 13th and 3rd. Although maybe it always is at this stage of the season - I'm not used to paying close attention to that part of the table! :ROFLMAO:

Despite Forest's amazing start to the season, I'd still be more than happy with a top half finish if we could manage it.🤞

Is it always 3 international breaks at this point of the season? You'd think I'd be glad of the break from league football but these two weeks always drag.

13th is also closer to bottom three than they are to 2nd.

Starting worrying or celebrating after Christmas, that’s probably when we’ll have 3 Leagues in one.😂

It's bloody awful, needs binning off

The last one came at the worst time for us we had just won a game in good fashion (Ipswich) and then spurs had lost. 2 weeks off to let spurs get their act together... Awful timing

This time prob not great timing either
