Think City will draw tonight, win on Sunday but lose the league on goal difference.
It’s only a 3 goal swing isn’t it?

Assuming a draw tonight then City need to beat West Ham by 3 more than Arsenal beat Everton. Don’t know about Everton but I think West Ham are mentally on their holidays, I reckon City win and Haarland secures the Golden Boot by a double digit margin.😁

That was down to poor decisions from VVd and McAllister for the second goal and then Endo going off left a gap in the middle that they ran through

We need someone else in the middle to protect the back 4?
Yes but we did bring people on to replace Endo .
That’s down to Klopp to make sure one of the subs is doing his job.
At 3-1 up there was no need to score again.
The amount of chances we gave Villa it could have been 6-6.

McAllister was the player to then sit in when Endo went off and he was the player that made the errors for the last two goals

It had that end of season feel , the sort of game that we have seen many times under Klopp and it was an enjoyable game , Villa played very well and hopefully they get the CL spot

The new manager has a little bit of different make up in the middle so summer will be interesting

I hope so.

On Salah, I would say if a good offer comes in then sell him and if he won’t sign a new contract , sell him.
I would we kept Diaz and Nunez and got another young player in to join them in competition with Jota.
Salah is and always has been too selfish for the teams best advantage, and it’s now showing up more. He seems to have forgotten no player is bigger than the club.
Mac Allister isn’t a defensive midfielder, and Endo whilst has his moments is too slow all to often and gives the ball away too much.
I think it’s time Trent either went into midfield or really studied hard on his defending and stayed right back, but I think Bradley is the best defensive option and will improve with time as well.
Some of the players definitely appear to be coasting and waiting for Slot to come in whereas some put every effort into each game (Elliot and Diaz).

He can’t and wouldn’t tackle a wet paper bag.

You’re entitled to your opinion.
But I have given mine!
We had Mitrovic who was the same and would stand and watch. At least Silva has our forwards now trying to hassle the opposition even if they are never going to go flying in. We all know sometimes a bit of pressure fries a defenders brain and they make errors. It is a necessary part of the game for me. I think the fact Salah is behind the likes of Watkins and Solanke in the PL goalscorers this season shows that there are younger players able to cut it. Would Isak be a good fit as Newcastle are rumoured to may be open to offers.

Just read that Tottenham U21s have finished top of their Premier league, and yet haven't been crowned champions. Normally, they would have done. However, this is the 1st season where a different format has been introduced. The title is decided via play-offs, featuring the Top 16 sides

Assuming Spurs don't win the playoffs, this is definitely up there as one of the most Spursy things I've ever heard

I could put this in irritations but it's football related so I'll keep it here.

It's really annoying me this rhetoric of Spurs fans wanting us to lose to City so that Arsenal don't win the league. If that's the view of most Spurs fans then I find it embarrassing and makes me ashamed to call myself one. (Heck, I don't even watch the games anymore so I'm hanging by a thread on that anyway.) "Ooh we can't anything so we don't want our local rivals to win anything either." It's pathetic, petty jealousy. You support your team, and if Arsenal win the league then they deserve to for being the best team - it shows us what levels we should be aspiring towards. I remember when Arsenal went from winning titles to struggling for 4th place under Wenger, and their fans always piped up with 'St Totteringham Day' and being proud that they finished above us, supposedly an inferior team at the time, and I felt sorry and embarrassed for them. It's a shame that our fans are apparently just as bad.

And above all else, at least Liverpool aren't winning it, so we should all be happy.
There are many fans that have a dislike of Pep. But he firmly hits the nail on the head when asked if Spurs will roll over for City. He said to the reporter that asked him “ my advice to you is do not ask that question to the manager or players, they will be very angry”.
It’s a game that if Spurs win makes Sundays game for 1st and 2nd and 4th and 5th very very interesting.
I have an Arsenal fan pal who despises Spurs. For the last. Oyole
If seasons he has ripped them apart. He has already celebrated two title in March and then eaten massive humble pie. He is now supporting the spurs “scum” for one game 😖
Come what may, may the best team win tonight and I hope VAR is not involved or crap referee decisions.

How American is that, and for that reason it sucks. Pardon the American expression. 😖

Correct - I saw that someone did ask Ange about it and he was angry. It's such a stupid rhetoric, and the idea that a team would genuinely go out and try and lose is laughable. We'll probably lose anyway, but let's not pretend it was on purpose as that would be embarrassing.

I suspect they will go straight from the Emirates to Heathrow, getting the first flight to Dubai, Portugal, Spain (wherever they go nowadays). Instead of walking into the Emirates with just their washbags, they will be walking in with full suitcases on Sunday 😄 . I think Sunday might get messy 🙈

Remaining Games

City will just be City , they know how to get results at the end of the season and I suspect they will win comfortably tonight , they aren’t missing anyone important and have players hitting form nicely

And then onto West Ham who are at the stage where any game prob doesn’t matter now so I can’t see them causing too many issues

So I suspect City will win the title

Arsenal just missing out

Villa making the CL

How? Just another reason to hate modern football. Media and 'journalists' like a dog with a bone with their 💩 running jokes they won't drop.
But every so often you get the youngster that is a talent coming through, getting some decent U21 experience and going on to make the grade and force themselves into the 1st team. That is how Sessignon did it, although I'm bet he's glad he moved now with all the game time he's had since lol

I'm not sure where this theory is coming from.

In the media (and I've obviously not heard everyone's opinion), I've only heard Martin Keown suggest Spurs will roll over for City, as they'll not want Arsenal to win the league, when he was on Talksport. Talksport have since kept sharing his opinion every day to their guests, and it seems pretty much every person disagrees with Keown. At least in terms of the players and manager. But, Keown is an idiot, and all he is doing is looking for excuses in case Arsenal don't win the league.

I'd rather City didn't win the league as a Man Utd fan, but I sure as heck wanted to beat Arsenal last weekend, and was disappointed with the loss. My view is that you surely always want your team to win each game, and what will be will be in terms of how other teams do.

Sorry, I misunderstood what you were saying. Thought you were saying the idea of Spurs not winning it and being laughed at again was 'gold'. Ignore me.

Yeah, idiot pundits like Keown bringing it up - O'Hara is another one I saw via Facebook this morning. Apparently someone (Talksport?) did a vote and 54% of Spurs fan say they want to lose the game; however it obviously could be complete balderdash with non-fans voting and whatnot. I just keep seeing it brought it up and it annoyed me.

Agreed, I'd prefer City win the league as I have less dislike of them than Arsenal or Liverpool. But if Arsenal win it, fair play. They have plenty of players I like, such as Saka, Rice, Odegaard, Saliba. I just hate their manager most of all, a disgusting weasel of a man.
