Forest get three points on Saturday. Other two teams in relegation battle get zero.

Tuesday - no points back on appeal for Forest, thus keeping the relegation battle alive.

Who saw that coming?! 🙄🤣

Havnt UTD got any decent young kids in the club instead of playing an aging out of position midfielder?

You have done ok with kids in the past 😂😂

Just give one a go now ready for next season.
Last nights performance just added another £10m onto Branthwaites fee :ROFLMAO: . He is going to cost Utd more than VVD at this rate.

I'm with you, surely there has to be a youngster out there who would do a better job than an out of position, legs gone, midfielder.

I don't know too much about the kids at Utd, but I also think that if he just chucks a load of them into that side now, ahead of some 1st team players, it is a huge gamble that could backfire spectacularly.

There is so much negativity around Man Utd at the moment. Every bad pass is mocked by opposition fans and audible moans of despair by Man Utd fans. The media are having a field day every time Man Utd put in a bad performance, even if they win (so, basically every single game). I can almost feel many of the experienced 1st team players are broken players, some of whom cannot cope with the constant mocking they get. Perhaps they try too hard and fail (trying to be a hero as an individual rather than keep things simple). Perhaps they hide away during a game, and panic every time the ball comes near them, fearing they mess up. And, dare I say it, maybe a few of those injuries are not that bad, but some players are happy to sit a few games out of the public glare?

Truth is, I'd be worried about bringing kids into that atmosphere. There are basically no leaders around them, who stand up and ready to go to battle. Someone for the young players to look up to, knowing they have a few real leaders to have their back. They come into this team right now, I think it could destroy them.

And, to be fair, we have already brought some kids into the tea. Mainoo and Kambwala this season, and Garnacho has emerged as a 1st team player. Utd have done well with kids in the past. But, the class of 92 came into a team that had Schmeichel, Irwin, Bruce, Pallister, Parker, Cantona, Keane and Andy Cole. I dread to think how Beckham, Scholes and Neville would have done in their careers if they made their debuts in the current Utd team.

With such a few games left of the season now, I'd rather use the experienced players we have, they either show a bit of pride, or they continue to demonstrate they have no real future at the club. Get to the summer, let the clearout begin, hopefully sign some players with strong, positive personalities, and then see if what can be built from there.

I have it on very good authority (someone at the club) that they were fully expecting and told they'd be getting at least 1 point back....

make of that what you will.

One thing I’m 100% sure of is that it’s definitely NOT that the PL want to keep the relegation fight alive and that they would love to see “plucky little Luton” or media darling Vincent Kompany’s Burnley stay up ahead of Forest. 🤣

Its not a good look for the league to have the 3 promoted teams go straight back down...Much better to have it shown as a "competitive league" if Forest or Everton went down instead. Hopefully we've pissed on those chips :)

If that doesn't happen, I wonder how much the recent rants may have influenced things? It can't have helped the cause.
Indeed. In theory, it shouldn't make a difference, since the appeal is reviewed by an "independent" panel, allegedly. But onwards and upwards. Hopefully we can get a point against Chelsea or have burnley and Luton losses before we kick a ball.

Chelsea have suddenly discovered how to play so i can see you losing that one, all going down to the last match. I hope you do stay up. Losing points as we both have should never have happened. It's a nonsense approach and does nothing to solve the issue they were, supposedly, put in place to do.

You may be correct. But then again, Chelsea’s recent good form has all come at home. Don’t think they’ve won away for a long while - even Blades held them to a draw.

Plus this time last year, no one gave us a chance against Arsenal and we turned them over and effectively ended their chances at winning the PL.

But I’m the most pessimistic of pessimists out there, especially when it comes to Forest. So yeah, nail biting final day no doubt! 🤣

Whilst true - We have Big Taiwo back - he's been nothing but problems for Chelsea's backline in every single fixture since being promoted. if we don't concede set pieces, we might have a chance

If West Ham beat Luton (or at least don't lose and send Moyes out on a high at home) and Spurs don't go all spursy against Burnley (won't want to give up their Europa League spot easily), we'll be home and dry before we kick off - well actually if Luton draw, they'll need a win the last day and ensure we lose to Burnley with a massive goal swing (currently 11 goals)...I'm certainly not putting it past forest to balls it up. We did similar and missed out on the playoffs in 2020...which still gives me nightmares....but City Ground will be bouncing on Saturday, which will help.

He's only being nice so she doesn't give him bad press in the future :D

But, in all seriousness, he seems to be fantastic with fans, and especially fans who go through difficult times. Seen loads of videos where he takes the time to speak to them properly, rather than ignoring them or just doing the bare minimum because he feels he has to.

When he promised her that he will give her an interview in the future, I 100% believe he will stick top that promise and make sure it happens.

And I know people like to blankly say "footballers should not be role models". But, if kids look up to how Grealish behaves in these types of encounters with fans, and try to emulate that kindness and time of day to other people, then I'd say that is a positive

There's lots of negative press about his behaviour - rightly so although sometimes he's just a lad being a lad - but he does this kind of thing a lot. It seems genuine too and not for effect/camera.
He certainly seems to be one of the nice guys around. It doesn't necessarily mean he has the most professional attitude to life style and training though I agree.

Born a generation to late

Don't get me wrong id welcome him at ours and he is a cracking player but his like of a party and less professionalism suited the George best era of pros more

Being born now might end up saving his career, and maybe more. Lots of the 'party' players didn't fare too well in life by the end. Grealish may like a night out but it wont compare to previous generations, the constant monitoring of fitness wouldn't allow it.
