Teams are going on worldwide pre season tours, why? Obscene amounts money. How about stop touring and stay local. Owners of clubs want high % ROI. Football sold its soul years ago.
Pre season tours are usually warm up games and not high intensity. Last sentence we both agree on ☹️

Funny how folks can only use Google to find stuff that suits their narrative.
I dont have a narrative. My only point of posting the clip of the post match interview was to highlight how childish Pep was being after he said he "wouldnt do anything else" ie, no more interview's after he was told it was a broadcasters decision to make City play yesterday.

I wonder if it had been another manager behaving like Pep you would be defending them?

We keep hearing these complaints and how they need to reduce the fixtures because of "player welfare" but everyone knows it's about money and the clubs don't care about player welfare. If it was to do with player welfare Newcastle and Tottenham wouldn't be playing a friendly in Australia three days after the end of the PL. Why is it that they need to get rid of FA Cup replays to reduce the number of games being played but all of the big clubs were in favour of increasing the amount of games being played in the Champions League? Money.

My heart bleeds for Pep, Klopp and Arteta with their multimillion pound contracts. They knew what they were getting in to when they signed their contracts. If you manage a successful club you're going to play a lot of games in a season. I'd like to see all of the league clubs below the PL just say "No thanks, we've decided not to enter your competition next season". The big clubs in the PL seem to think that football should be run for their benefit rather than for the good of the sport.
How come other Countries manage it, weirdly enough were these managers you mention have come from.

The players and managers get no say in were the pre-season tours go.

You don’t get a choice to “opt out” of comps and if you play reserves the Clubs are punished.

Look at the hassle at the end of every season trying to fit fixtures in, the fans get messed about, the Clubs are messed about and everytime we get the same comeback. “Suck it up you’re paid millions” that’s a poor comeback, they are not cattle.
And we wonder why our National team struggles🙄

I’m an Everton fan, I’ve got no affinity to Pep.🤷‍♂️

I seem to remember Klopp being lambasted for disrespecting the Cups and smaller clubs becuase he played a team with hardly any first 11 and quite a few youngsters, many of who have made it into the first team squad.
Having your cake and eating it isn't possible.

Didn’t say you did, it’s a forum, ie, a collective of people.👍🏻
It's extremely rude to butt into a conversation in public, why do you feel its acceptable to do the same on a public forum when my post was aimed directly to AmandaJR?

Little tip, when someone quotes another post, that means the person who quoted the post is talking to that person.

😂😂 I think you’ll find if you look back Amanda joined “our” conversation.👍🏻

But hey! You try and take the moral high ground, after all, you’re initial post has been proved to be sour grapes.

I quite clearly quoted Amanda, as i read the post it seemed like it was questioning my narrative as your thoughts where completely opposite to mine. I have since confirmed my initial post.

Sour grapes? About what exactly?

Pep and Klopp were at the forefront of whinging for the 5 sub rule to be reintroduced. Now they've got what they wanted they still want more.
