I do wonder if they are buying players that will help their new super star striker settle in Germany, obviously he has hit the ground running but I mean settle on personal terms. They both have played with him and speak the same language.
And they both like playing golf I believe.

Maybe Kane suggested to Bayern that he only expects to stay in Germany for a short spell (no idea how long his contract is), before going back to the PL. And given how well he has started, Bayern are now desperately trying to think of ways to keep him there for a lot longer. So now trying to hoover up his mates, make sure he has a decent 3 or 4 ball at all times. Maybe they'll persuade Gareth Bale to come out of retirement?

Not sure that's a good idea. Suddenly Kane will be skipping training to get another round of golf in.

Not looking forward to the match tonight. I'm going (not always a good omen) but hoping for a special night similar to when we beat Juventus at home 4-1. It will take something special and not sure we have the ability to keep the Liverpool firepower quiet all night and not concede. I can see us scoring and we need to get the first goal but not convinced we can keep a clean sheet. I'm reluctantly going 2-1 away win and 4-2 on aggregate. If the miracle does come off you may well be hearing about it here tomorrow!!!!!

Oh I hope so Homer. 😁

Bayern do seem to the employing a scattergun approach to the market this time. I can understand a side needing cover but the prices they are willing to pay seem extravagant and it begs the question what their plan is going forward. Do they need a rebuild or are they just trying to fill certain positions

They are quite unbalanced at the moment, Laimer is out of position at right back and they were trying to buy Mazroui before offering on Trippier. They need a holding midfielder too having not bought Palhinha in the summer (or anyone else) and could do with a commanding centre half (assuming Dier came in as Kanes mate not to fulfill that role) whilst they have plenty of options up top

Hopefully its the year that someone else wins the Bundesliga

Halfway through that article he points out that you can’t trust organisations to review themselves as they won’t find errors in their own work.

And he’s a Liverpool fan. Reviewing perceived biases against Liverpool.

The irony is obviously lost on him.

You aren't implying he may have started with a conclusion, and then looked for stats to back that up? Rather than the other way around?
