Just turned on and I have to say if that’s a yellow for Ayew we might as well all pack up and go home. That’s a shocking decision.

Why not If Ayews was and VVD was for non pen but cancelled.

Poor reffing he’s missed every big decision and VAR has corrected him
Because he simply got Ayew one wrong. It would be horrific if he was consistenly wrong all the time.

In the Ayew second yellow, once foul occured didn't another Palace player kick ball away? I immediately thought he was giving a yellow for that, until I realised it was Ayew for challenge. Does this mean he just let the other Palace player get away with kicking the ball away?

Well the answer to that is yes he did.

it was horrific he was so bad..

Wasnt a nasty game but 8 yellow and a red is a joke.

Booking players for fouls he let go earlier on..

Great win not playing well, you need that but if I was a Palace fan I would be fuming,

Was listening to five live on the way home yesterday

We have had more red cards this season than all of last season

Yellow cards we are over half way there

Great winning goal from Elliot there. He seems to make a difference in most games he comes on.

The 1st half foul leading to the pen was a foul, Madley put his whistle to his mouth to blow for a foul but waved play on so I’m assuming he wasn’t sure.

Ayew’s 2nd yellow was a shocker, he’d made a few tactical fouls in the 1st half that went unpunished though.

Refs are really poor now.
I think VAR has affected the way they ref the game.

VAR got the big decisions correct today ( that he missed) but they took an age to get there.

I thought he put his whistle up to blow for handball by Endo.
He let them play on when the ball broke free.

Agree Elliot he has come on massively .

I thought his second yellow was because Elliot was away and Palace were outnumbered. It looked like one of those you see every week to stop an attack.

Likewise, how stupid must you be to do it when on a yellow?
Trouble is fans complain about those sort of tackles/actions, but when a ref takes action he is derided.
Yes I see your point but it’s consistency fans want.

Letting them go then later on booking for identical tackle causes this problem imo.

Well, Utd 1-0 down at half time, and they haven't even been that bad. Fell asleep for Bournemouth's goal on left hand side, and Bournemouth have had a few other dangerous situations (Utd saved by post once, and great piece of defending by Maguire another time).

But the lack of that quality up front is plane to see. Poor final balls and just so many very promising situations coming to nothing
