No matter how bad the Man Utd owners are they are still better than Newcastles owners, the owners of Newcastle, Man. City should never been allowed to invest in English football imo.

You only have to look at the corruption that’s gone on for Saudi to be handed the World Cup to see how our game is gradually getting eroded.
A fair point.

But the Utd fans are toxic towards their owners, regardless of result. Newcastle fans are buzzing. Playing in that toxic atmosphere is probably demoralising. Win, still lots of negativity. Lose, and ultimately the buck stops at the top.

It’s not my fault that you can’t separate lack of effort and lack of form. I’m sure you’ll give us a lovely long winded explanation which is little more than an inaccurate rehashing of what you’ve heard on the Totally Football Show but I’ll just skim it like I do for most of your overly emotive footballing diatribes.
Overly emotive, yet it is you that decides to get personal? Classy.

There are a few players who don't lack effort, but are bang out of form. Rashford lacks both.

What on earth is Totally Football Show?

One for utd fans, what style of play is ETH looking for? What is his plan? All teams get beaten but having watched their last two games I can't see how you are looking to play. That's pretty fundamental for a team.

I don't watch them much so I'm interested to hear.

Absolutely no idea.

The biggest worry is the nature of the goals we are conceding. To see a Newcastle defender carry the ball, unchallenged, from deep in his own half to the edge of the United area for the first goal, was absolutely staggering. And the absence of any challenge for the third goal was as bad. We simply don’t press in any part of the pitch.

And when we do have the ball we simply have no clue. There is no crisp passing, no looking for a pass forward between the lines. It’s unbelievably bad to watch. I certainly question what they work on in training, and what instructions they are being sent out with.

The bottom line is we have scraped past a few teams that the United of old would have beaten with ease. And every time we come up against anyone half decent we are not laying a glove on them. We must be an absolute joy to play against.

We can’t keep using the excuse that we are missing players with injury, although clearly that cannot help. When AWB replaced the abysmal Dalot at half time, there was an immediate improvement down United’s right.

But there is quite clearly something fundamentally wrong behind the scenes at that club. I don’t know what it is, but it needs to change quick. We are playing like relegation candidates at the moment.

I'm afraid nobody knows. Clearly it isn't the style to give away cheap possession, create huge gaps in middle for opponents to run through on goal, etc.

I'm just afraid any manager in the world could come to Utd, and fail. Not sure how thet could succeed medium to long term, when everyone knows the club is a shambles in virtually every department. They'll maybe sack ten Hag this season, bring in someone else and when transfer window opens, buy someone like Eric Dier for £150 million

Very much agree. It is alarming that we lose every 50/50 ball. We even lose 70/30 balls in our favour.

And when there is a second ball to be won, the opponents usually have a player in that area to pick it up its ease, while Utd players are nowhere to be seen.

Man U being rubbish is not a new thing. Some of us are old enough to remember what they were like before Fergie. Just because a team had amazing success and dominance for 20 years does not mean that they have the right to be top dog forever. Great teams come and go, and I’m sure that when Pep leaves Man City they will slide back into mediocrity also.

I can understand Newcastle fans buzzing as you put it , great atmosphere around the club at the moment and it must be great for them to know they will be able to compete at the highest level in the coming years.

It doesn’t change where the moneys coming from though, be careful what you wish for comes to mind.

I read a good article in the ‘I’ newspaper yesterday by Daniel Story about how FIFA have handed the Saudis the World Cup, it’s staggering how many of their on rules they have disregarded, even Henderson was quoted extolling the virtues of a World Cup in Saudi.

As for your club it’s difficult to see how they can go forward with the present owners, terrible atmosphere around the club and I can’t see it getting any better until new owners come in and stabilize the club.

It's only a matter of time until Saudi Arabia owns all of sport. Might as well accept it now or make other plans.

It is a fair point Sport just has an insatiable appetite for money and no amount is ever enough. They get more, and they just want even more. Sadly the middle east is the only place really where there are bottomless cash reserves and if they want something to happen in sport, they will throw cash until they get it.

It’s true but who is going to be the first country to say “ we’re not going to play in Saudi”?

It won’t be England the FA havnt got the balls.

There have been several matches I've seen this season where it is clear that United have a totally soft centre and crumble when anyone runs directly at the heart of their defence.

6 teams have put three or more goals past United in the last two months...its clear where Ten Hags priorities should lie.

The first signs of backlash will be when the Saudis try and buy a place or two in the champions league for their clubs sides. You can see if coming and you can see UEFA gladly accepting the money.

No country would decline to play in Saudi or anywhere else.

I think the way he has treated Maguire tells you a lot about ETH.
The other players see that and it must have an effect.

Maybe ETH is the problem!

I don’t think City will. City are built on solid foundations from the academy up. When Pep moves on (and don’t forget he was supposed to be going after a couple of years coz he never stays around). City will go for someone like the manager at Brighton.

Just looking at the recent line-ups - how have they spent so much money to end up with Evans at centre back, or Eriksen playing in a two-man midfield when his legs are clearly gone? At this point you would think play Casemiro and Amrabat together for a bit of stability maybe.

That might happen, what I think will happen though is the Saudis will have some kind of super league similar to the ill fated breakaway that the top sides in Europe tried to form.

I think in 5 years time football will be a lot different to what we know it now, it might be a blessing let all the so called big clubs bugger off and let the rest of the clubs enjoy football 😂
