I never said he is the second coming. But I'd like to see him be given more time to see what he can do. Ole was shocking.

P.S. I think Utd technically had 2 first team players in the starting line up. Anthony and Casemiro. Maybe Mount if we think he might end up being a starter, though that seems doubtful up to now

Hasn't he spent £400 million since taking over? How can Utd still be so poor with that sort of investment? Postecoglu has come in at Spurs and got them playing far better football at a fraction of the cost and in a much shorter time frame. Emery at Villa has also far outperformed ETH with a fraction of the spend. Even De Zerbi at Brighton is doing a better job. I used to love watching Utd play but there's something rotten at the club and they need a complete reset.

Having seen City in their darkest days. Lets say I am an expert at watching a rammel club and a rammel football team. Even though we ended up in the third tier. I honestly think Utd have taken “ rammel” to another level.
The problem is, where do you start.
The owners,
The selling of the club.
The Stadium.
The manager.
The team.
The fans ( not all of them)

Come what may UTD have spent hundreds of millions and are not even standing still. They are still going backwards. Nothing is changing and Utd May yet have not hit rock bottom.

Ref tells Lindelof that Reguillon must shut up. Reguillon instantly turns to the ref and shakes his head at him. I’d have sent him off. He’s immediately ignored the ref’s instructions.

You’d sell your best player from last season because he’s playing poorly in a team where no one is doing well? Fickle.
And he was awful the season before last.

If Utd fans truly ever hope to compete towards the top, is Rashford the player who will get you those consistent performances?

I don't think Utd fans would be too disheartened if any of the players were sold to be fair.

If ETH is solely in charge of Utd's transfer policy, then the club are truly to blame. To allow any manager to spend that sort of money, and then maybe only be at club for a year or 2 is absurd.

Yes, the manager should be involved in the discussion. I'm sure he might have even said Antony is a player he likes. And fine if you can get him for a reasonable price. Spending what they did though was a joke. To be honest, I simply have no idea what Utd's transfer policy is.

I'm just not sure any of these players, or too many of them, will ever work hard enough for any manager. They might for a bit, but then revert to type. Maybe it us because the fans clearly hate the owners, and everything always goes back to that. Media, like Neville, go on and on and on about it. So, as soon as the players face a little adversity and the fans start groaning, do they just accept it and have an excuse (the owners). Whereas, clubs like Newcastle get better owners, fans absolutely buzzing and players are 100% up for the fight all the time?

If you think Rashford work's hard, you clearly don't watch the games. Maybe you just watch the highlights
It’s not my fault that you can’t separate lack of effort and lack of form. I’m sure you’ll give us a lovely long winded explanation which is little more than an inaccurate rehashing of what you’ve heard on the Totally Football Show but I’ll just skim it like I do for most of your overly emotive footballing diatribes.

No matter how bad the Man Utd owners are they are still better than Newcastles owners, the owners of Newcastle, Man. City should never been allowed to invest in English football imo.

You only have to look at the corruption that’s gone on for Saudi to be handed the World Cup to see how our game is gradually getting eroded.

Just got back from Old Trafford. My god, that was bad. As bad as I’ve seen since Ferguson retired.

This United side totally lack identity but, most alarmingly of all, there is a total disconnect between the fans and players. It’s really noticeable in the ground.

Without a massive turnaround this side won’t be challenging for Europe. They will finish bottom half of the table.

Too awful for words.
