Awful lot of attention being thrown at Liverpool's plight of losing a legitimate goal .
Iirc last season a legitimate goal was scored by a team but var ruled it offside as they drew the line in the wrong place , nowhere near the furor of Liverpools wrongly given decision. But then it was two teams that aren't considered as being a threat to the so called top six .
Top six ,that's a laugh as two of the supposed didn't make it to top six last year.
Liverpool fans ,get over yourselves it's not going to be changed .
As for var it's here and it's not very good but it's here and we have got to put up with it no matter how much you bleat about it .

Subservience isn’t a great trait.

City's goal was allowed to stand against Fulham the other week with a player in front of the keeper and interfering. Had that been the other way round I bet it would have been disallowed. Now it has actually happened to a "top" club it is the end of the world. I will be livid if anything is done to alter the score or replay the game when the City game will stand as they went on to win

Never known anything like it,it’s like they’re the only team that get bad decisions.

One good thing to come of this weekend was City losing (sorry Amanda and Tashy)

They're now only a point above Spurs and Arsenal and 2 above Liverpool.

Id really like some form of title race this year :ROFLMAO:

It's fine :) Still not used to being the team everyone wants to lose and every other team's cup final!!

I don't wish you to lose, I just wish for a close title race... the benchmark for the league is now 90+ points though and I'm not sure if any team will keep the pressure on you so its welcomed for now!

Villa only 3 points back ;) :ROFLMAO:

I'd personally love to see a team like Villa upsetting the top table - just not too much!

I'm sure Tashy will back me up here but when you've been hopeless for so long and many fans favourite second team (easy because we'd never threaten their team) and now there's lots of anti City stuff, teams celebrating beating us like they've won a cup and random kids wandering around in City shirts...it still feels odd.

The price of success I guess and wouldn't change it BUT think I have imposter syndrome!!

Everyone loves to hate success.

I mean we all hate United don't we? Years and years of success and now they're experiencing what football is like for the average fan - torture!

I will say I don't see many kids with United bags anymore though like when I was at school - and there's plenty of City which you never used to see around here!

Well done for spectacularly missing the point.

There becomes a point where ALL football clubs need to stand up to sub standard VAR officiating. A "sorry lads, it was human error suck it up🤷‍♂️" isnt acceptable.

Refs making wrong/bad decisions in real time at high speed, i'm sure we all agree is acceptable, they have a tough job to do.

VAR however getting blatant decisions wrong when they have the technology and time to look at it is not acceptable. Irrespective of which club is on the recieving end.

Look at how many apologies the PGMOL have sent out to clubs this season alone and its only 7weeks old!!

Please take your club bias specs off and see where the real issues are here.

Nobody wants it replaying or changing, but we have every right to highlight it so it doesnt happen again.

We dont have to put up with it though. Whilst fans are getting shafted with no communication in the grounds during a VAR check, high ticket prices and rubbish kick off times why should they accept sub standard/inept/corrupt decisions.

It isnt the end of the world at all. Again another horrific decision given by VAR. Did Silva get an apology? Did he have his yellow card retracted?

Instead of a sly dig at Liverpool, why not voice your concern at the state of VAR?

Nah sod that. If Liverpool arent challenging then i want City to win it by February every season.

You've are doing a real poor job of using words to try and shift your point, and make it sound like your opinion should be treated seriously. The bit in red highlights this well.

Previous to this, you said "The bookings for Salah and Robbo stunk of corruption." This is the comment that others responded to, as it is clearly an absurd accusation unless you know something that we don't? Those booking would have absolutely nothing to do with VAR.

Yet now you say that the onfield decisions that are incorrect are acceptable, insofar as it is a tough job to do in real time. What do you believe? That you accept these incorrect calls, or that they are corrupt calls?

It's funny how all this is happening to your team and you are up in arms about it .
It happened to my team last season but Brighton aren't a "top six side"
So the fuss wasn't loud but oh my god it's Liverpool and the fuss is deafening especially from you it seems.
Yes it's not good that var make mistakes but no matter how much you whinge about it you aren't going to change it .
Var for the moment is here and we have to abide by it's say so wether we agree with it or not .
As for club bias ,,look in the mirror.

To clarify, I absolutely understand refs generally have a tough job to do and its hard to get every decision right, especially the tight ones. That doesnt excuse them from getting basic decisions wrong.

Specifically the Spurs game i thought he had a mare generally, robbo's was a 50/50 challenge that could've went either way but neither deserved a card.

Salah's card wasnt even a foul. When i look back on the refs performance, its almost impossible to get so much wrong without any influence.

Referees are certainly micro managed to the nth degree. I disagree they're lazy, i think they're just following orders.

How didnt Wissa get a pen for that challenge today?
Probably because he was given one in the same fixture last season that he should never have had, and we were given an apology for :)

(But yes, it was a definite pen...although weirdly hardly anyone appealed).
