Be interesting to see if the clampdown on singing offensive songs extends to cover the Greenwood situation. I'm sure opposition fans already have a long list of chants ready for if he returns.

I’ve said it before, but during my visits to Old Trafford since this all hit the headlines, it isn’t just the away fans who will have anti-Greenwood chants prepared. The United support already have plenty of their own.

This is going to be a really interesting one. It extends beyond football and United will need to think outside the box. That in itself will be extremely difficult as the player is a valuable asset.

But from what I have seen any decision to retain his services will not just be badly received by visiting fans. And it is the home support which will give the club its biggest headache.

Unless the 70k fans who turn up each week and the now doubt 20k on the Wortingost refuse to buy tickets. The fans mean jack.

The UK market probably accounts for 5% of UTDs income. Sky, and commercial deals as well as abroad will be their biggest markets.

I'd imagine sponsors have been contacted already and they're still going forward...

Depends if you’re able to think for yourself.
Imo he’s a piece of that abused his girlfriend.

I personally see it that in the eyes of the law he wasn’t proven guilty because of money,rather than being innocent.

Whilst I agree in eyes of law he innocent, It just shows how broken society and the justice system is

We have evidence of the abuse, but because his gf decided to go back to him they dropped it

My big problem is it’s not good for women who are being abused,
When they see someone getting away with it.
I’m not one for footballers are roll models,but young lads listening to that recording & then seeing him worshiped for scoring a goal.

It shouldn't be up to the ladies team to make the call

The men's team should refuse to train with him

From what I heard earlier they were waiting for the end of the world cup and the return in the United players before making a decision. Cynical but it Would not play well if they made a decision and world cup winners came out against it (if they win)

from a business pov the women’s team mean bugger all.
might be bad news if they complained on the day, but long term the women’s game is insignificant
