Yet to meet a city fan that's unlikable aswell

That's because 90% of their fanbase are in primary school ;) :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I live in Worcester and work on the Worcestershire/ B'ham border in schools - when I grew up, United fans everywhere - now I see no United bags - they're all City....

Edit - sorry of course still some Villa, Birmingham and Baggies around here too...

Which is precisely why I’m rather torn.

I was thinking of Casemiro when I typed my reply, aware that his signing rather undermined my argument. But the need for a defensive midfielder was beyond urgent, where as the club could still fall back on Martial, albeit rather injury prone, and Rashford whilst they considered a longer term solution to the striker crisis. It was no secret they were after a striker in January, but the funds were not there which is why they went for Weghorst. He just hasn’t worked, but has done a job of sorts.

From a United perspective I have to say I’m a little fed up of us bringing in strikers who are towards the end of their careers rather than the beginning. Ibrahimovic, Cavanai, Ronaldo - all relatively short term stop gaps who have all done a job, but none of them were signings for the future.

As a football fan first and foremost I want to be excited by the names I see on the team sheet and I’d love to see a young striker with bags of talent to go with their long term potential become the focal point of our medium to long term future. Kane just doesn’t fit that bill.

Martial has flattered to deceive since the day he arrived. For me, he’s never lived up to the hype. Rashford was excellent 3 seasons ago, and looks like he‘s finding it again but he’s not a striker. A winger cutting in, or playing number 10, and scoring his fair share absolutely. But imagine him with a decent striker… am I describing Kane & Son? Rashford and Kane might be taking it up a notch.

Now that's one hell of a debate.....

Nothing to do with “poor us”

Every club has rules they have to follow - why should a team be able to ignore them ? Even more so when it’s at the detriment of the league - unless you want to see City win the league every year

And you couldn’t be more wrong about a Saudi Prince taking over Liverpool - certainly don’t want the club to be state owned or be part of any sportswashing exercise

Nothing is better than a club that self funds itself within the rules to win
Rules have to follow 😂
Who was it who hacked in to city’s scouting network? Who failed FPP in 2013?

Martial has all the ability and tools to be a top top player but doesn’t appear to have the desire or heart and is prob another one of those players that feels an injury too often

Lewondonski is 34 and most clubs would still take him

Kane is only 30 and these days that’s still no age - a good 4/5 seasons left in him

But I think Man Utd need more than Kane , CB’s and Midfielders fora start and even some more wider players

Kane would be perfect for Arsenal and even Chelsea

But I don’t expect him to go to either -if Kane did leave then maybe to somewhere like Madrid ( until Haaland goes there ) or Munich. But I think Kane will now stay at Spurs for his career

1. The “hack” was settled with City

2. The FFP rules that we were investigated for didn’t apply due to the club at the time not being Europe and losses ( stadium debt ) were recovered by the time we got back into Europe.
Not to mention how 80% of Liverpool's squad officially 'have asthma' enabling them to take an otherwise banned substance.

No they don’t

“The story, which as far as our research shows has no substantive evidence base, is that over 60% of the Liverpool squad is registered as asthmatic. This compares to an asthma prevalence among the UK population of around 12%.”

Because I'm sure Liverpool don't have any contacts in the media who could put sympathetic article out like that.
Or it’s just a false story with zero factual evidence - unless you can provide it

You can if you wish read the countless article debunking it from medial experts.

So if we settle , it’s ok then ?

Guess will depend on the settlement - transfer ban for a couple years , all the trophies over those 9 years removed and maybe a relegation should be a good settlement

Question -
Do you think City have broken FFP rules for years ?

If another club did the same over the same sustained period and it was the reason for them being successful would you be ok with it

Wow really ? Shocked that you think the club were able to spend all that money without breaking FFP

So 100 charges are false ?

All those documents leaked were false ?
