100%, they need a Viera / Keane type character to pull them through when things get tough.I think they also need an older, experienced ‘boss’ on the pitch.

Might of gone up a few quid after this result.
joking aside am sure someone is going to analyse the downfall of Arsenal this season. They were outstanding for 3/4 of the season. Any ideas where it went wrong. I honestly thought when Arsenal signed Jorghino and Trossard in January and the return of Jesus I thought the title was done and dusted.
As a City fan am starting to believe it could be our year.
I fully agree with you Phil but I really can't see them being brought to book over all the misdemeanors and wrong doing, I can't see titles and trophies being taken away as that would cause so much trouble with sides being relegated after being beaten by city and what can they do other than give them a hefty fine which I'm sure they can afford. Probably will get a transfer embargo and if we are lucky two divisions of relegation .The one shining light is that it’s gone to an independent body , there is no time barred to help them put this time. Everyone knows they have consistently broken FFP rules ( think it’s 100 of them over 9 years ) so every single trophy is tainted.
If they don’t do anything about it or they are allowed to get away with it again then the game is gone

I went on record some months ago saying Arsenal were the best team in the league by a country mile. City were massively misfiring. Am not to sure anyone thought City would turn it around couple with Arsenal going backwards.Where it went wrong is they don’t have the strength and quality of squad that City have.
Can’t understand your negativity of City this season you’ve won league 5 out of 6 times recently.
Over that time City’s oil money has brought them the titles and trophies
No club can compete and buy trophies like that, well Chelsea are trying but they are a mess at the moment.

Nah not really , not where the money has come from and the financial cheating that’s gone on. Dont expect to ever be jealous of a state owned club that ignore the financial rules regardless of how many trophies they win - every one is tainted
Just think on Red Bull and Max Verstappen’s championship win. Multimillion pound overspend on the car, and absolutely got away with it. The ruling bodies haven’t got the financial clout to get into a fight with big money. It’ll be a slap on the wrist.
Hope I’m wrong but…

From my perspective being 60 yr old, up until the sheiks turned up and even in the early years there was always a feeling around the club of “ typical City” . Basically doing what Arsenal have done this season. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. As a fan I have never had a feeling of entitlement to expecting trophies and when we have played to a lesser standard I have said so.. How City have turned it around this season more than any other is beyond me. That said even though we are on for the treble. We have still won nowt. That’s what I can’t understand why you think Arsenal are the best team by a country mile when City have a far better squad and better quality, also City have only lost 4 times this season.
For all your doubts about City this season the majority of fans/ pundits would think City are the best team in England I would imagine
