Brighton deserved the win, they are a super side. Caciedo is a World Class footballer, he deserves to be playing Champions League football.

They are a joy to watch. Some wonderful players and an excellent manager. Said before kick off to my lad I had a feeling we’d be turned over, and don’t really have any complaints.

Nice to hear someone magnanamous in defeat on the forum.
It was tough for united in the end but what a great penalty!

Reading relegated. Excellent.

Huddersfield were a bit shaky in the first half but in the 2nd half I'd say they thoroughly deserved the win. Sheff Utd on the beach of course, but they looked up for it early on. Neil Warnock is a footballing legend.
Just need Allardyce to take Leeds down now and I'll be a happy terrier.

Nothing being said about DeGea being left on the pitch after what would have been a removal from the pitch in rugby for a HIA?
He was playing football, not rugby.

He looked fine after play restarted. The need to take more time with keepers though, as they can't be taken off the pitch while play resumes.

Wish he'd been taken off just before penalty though, he isn't very good at them

Disappointing for Utd.

A defeat was always on the cards, so at least it can be said that at least Utd turned up, and didn't get completely thrashed.

Created good chances, but not clinical. Sadly, like quite a few other games, we lose control of game, especially in 2nd half. So bad at keeping possession. As good as Rashford has been this season, the likes of him and Martial seem to be more reactive and less proactive in their movements, and often second best at getting to a ball. Maybe they just don't have that instinct as to getting themselves into better positions. They definitely don't challenge the opposition for aerial balls, or make proper tackles, which takes the pressure off the opposition defence.

Shaw played very well, so ridiculously frustrating he handled it at end. Definitely not deliberate, so no yellow, but no idea why players have their hands up like that? Almost an instinctive reaction for many to throw arms up when they feel contact from opponents. Can't imagine he was using them for leverage.

Fair play to Brighton though. I wouldn't mind them finishing high up the table thi season, so as long as Utd finish top 4, then might turn out to be not the worst result in the world.

Brighton play out from the back unbelievably well. It’s great to watch.
They were extremely slick at this last night. One thing that stuck in my mind, a round of applause to the groundsman, the team not one person. The one touch passes they made could not happen without a wonderful surface to play on. I didn't see the ball make a single bobble out of place. It's the same across most grounds now, the standard is stunning. (Part of me still hankers occasionally for a Baseball Ground or Molineux in February but that is nostalgia talking 🤣)
