Once again I find myself torn between not actually wanting to hear the nonsense generally spouted by Glenn Hoddle, and imploring the man to stop mumbling.

I’m amazed, after all his years working as a pundit, that nobody has ever taken him to one side and asked him politely to speak up.

I have said to Tashy there seems a lovely bromance and long may it continue! I think it's taken a while for them to really gel and to see Kevin go past Erling and he be the provider was something new (I think). Maybe he feeds of Erling's energy too as he suddenly looks more powerful striding forwards leaving players in his wake.

I felt after the WC he came back on a downer. His comments about his national team seemed to spill over and he showed frustration at City. We were playing poorly (relatively) but rather than drag everyone up to his level he seemed to drop his. Good to have him back!

Is there any concern with the bromance getting too strong? From previous comments it seems that Haaland wants to prove himself in all of the top leagues in Europe. He's done Germany and hasn't done too badly so far in the PL. I'm assuming Real Madrid will be his next move and then probably on to Italy and possibly PSG to complete the full set of the top 4 or 5 leagues. Could KDB be tempted to follow Haaland when he heads off to Madrid? De Bruyne's contract ends in 2025 and even though Haaland has a contract to 2027 I'm sure I read something about a break clause allowing him to move on for a reduced fee.

Very poor antics from Newcastle throughout this game... Not something I'd normally associate with the club. I wonder if it's a manager driven thing.

I think it's all guesswork and only time will tell. I'll enjoy it whilst it lasts. There was always talk that Pep would do his usual and move on after a couple of years at City. Here we are with him still at the helm 7 years on.

Its damning that this is one of our better performances and so, so, so poor across the whole spectrum.

Played with a bit of spirit but this team is not premier league. It’s time to go.
