have you actually watched the game hes talking about?

yes fans moan about decisions but this wasnt one decision, this was the 5 or 6 biggest decisions in the game that all went the way of one side and the majority were flat out wrong, to any neutral watching (ok im not totally neutral as an arsenal fan lol) that the officials had a massive influence on the result that they shouldnt have had with VAr allowing them to review decision

He obviously hasn't.

How many Brighton players missed shots at goal, missed tackles, let goals in etc? It wasn't just the officials who made mistakes during the game but they always seem to get the blame. Maybe you should look closer to home for others who may be accountable for the loss?
Have you seen the footage of the game ?!

It wasn’t just one bad VAR call it was 4 at least

Two clear penalty shouts

Clear wrongly disallowed goal

It was close to the worst VAR display seen so far and there is no doubt imo it cost Brighton the win

I'm not saying that the decisions were bad or good, but they would not have been the only mistakes made in the match. Sometimes fans are quick to blame the officials when they should have a look at their own players - but fans are never blinkered are they?
And I am speaking as a fan of a lower league side who get all the referees who are not deemed to be good enough to be in the PL!!!!

If i was a Brighton fan i couldnt expect my team to perform much better. They thoroughly deserved to win the game but like most other games its the fine margins that decide the outcome.

We've got something in common, both being fans of lower league teams.

Mistakes by players are just that mistakes.
you don’t get three goes at a tackle or a missed pen.
VAR has several screens and many angles to analyse things.
The onfield ref might miss something but it’s VARs job to help him clear them up.
They should not be getting things so wrong!

So when you get these refs in lower league games they are on their own.
No var backup.
So their mistakes are not highlighted as much As in the PL.

nothing to do with showing them, PGMOL admitted that Mason didnt even draw them or look at the offside

Ah, that one! Hard for any processto be infallable - aka cater for occasional instances of incompetence! Though there are ways to minimise the likelihood - such as checklist(s) or even yet another Ref!
FWIW, I believe VAR (the system) has improved the overall quality of decisions in PL by reducing incorrect decisions. However, it has also meant the relatively few errors made are criticised more, even though likely not more critical than pre VAR!

This city / Bayern game certainly is a star studded affair... Massive potential to be a humdinger.

Brighton we’re robbed of a win because of var so unfair on them and could possibly cost them a place in Euorope.

Plus they outplayed Spurs and showed them how to play football.
If it's for this game https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/tottenham-brighton-pgmol-apology-b1073105.html then 'robbed of a win' doesn't seem correct! Certainly robbed of a Penalty! But the result was a 2-1 win to Spurs, so even if Brighton had scored from the Penalty - and the rest of the game matched what actually happened - it would only have been a Draw!

Go and watch the whole game, 2 goals disallowed, 3 penalty appeals denied and 1 if not 2 red cards for spurs not issued

They were as robbed as any side has been by VAR since it was conceived

Yet only 1 of those VAR decisions flagged as wrong! Though, of course, that's too many!

come back to us when youve actually watched the game and have an understanding of the incidents rather than what youve read. "whats flagged", according to "flagging" VAR has only made 5 or 6 errors in the premier league this season lol
