Using that analogy, any penalty that is on target is a good penalty?Any penalty that isn’t on target is a bad penalty

Both statements above are wrong! VAR IS the technology! It's 'THE' VAR that's the guy that makes the decision - and gets stood down for a period when they blunder!Video Assistant Referee - in the simpliest of terms is a qualified professional PL standard Referee who uses video footage to analyse and assist the onfield referee .
The technology isnt VAR.
Not necessarily - a mis-kicked one that simply dribbles along the ground for example! But the first requirement for a penalty is for it to be on-target!Using that analogy, any penalty that is on target is a good penalty?
The Victorians called and want their opinions back .
It’s just a missed penalty at the end of the day , not the first one he has missed and prob won’t be the lastNot necessarily - a mis-kicked one that simply dribbles along the ground for example! But the first requirement for a penalty is for it to be on-target
Those points VAR blatantly stole are most probably not going to be as important top Brighton as the 2 points VAR blatantly stole off ArsenalI didnt think it was a bad penalty, 6" to the right its a perfect one. Fine margins.
Spare a thought for poor old Brighton and how VAR blatantly stole 3pts off them.
Nope that analogy doesn’t work imo.Using that analogy, any penalty that is on target is a good penalty?
Brighton could miss out on CL football to Tottenham though who they are currently in the race for top 4 with. Those points VAR blatantly stole are most probably not going to be as important top Brighton as the 2 points VAR blatantly stole off Arsenal
No one’s saying otherwise, just saying it was a bad penaltyIt’s just a missed penalty at the end of the day , not the first one he has missed and prob won’t be the last
Bigger penalties have been missed over the years

Taking points off your nearest rivals in the table away from home is extremely difficult anyway, without being shafted by incompetent refereeing.
I'm not sure what incident your talking about re Arsenal.
Which one was that! This site explains quite a few of the contentious ones in PL! https://www.espn.co.uk/football/eng...xplained-disallowed-arsenal-goal-saka-penalty And there's a podcast that does equivalent in Scotland - VARdict! Those points VAR blatantly stole are most probably not going to be as important top Brighton as the 2 points VAR blatantly stole off Arsenal
As per the article I quoted (started before you posted; posted after) showing of lines is down to broadcaster! The Brentford one where Norgaard scored despite a number of offences including VAR not bothering to draw offside lines
Which PGMOL later apologied for (albeit were not at Brightons level of having had 3 apologies so far this season!!!!!)

How many Brighton players missed shots at goal, missed tackles, let goals in etc? It wasn't just the officials who made mistakes during the game but they always seem to get the blame. Maybe you should look closer to home for others who may be accountable for the loss?Brighton could miss out on CL football to Tottenham though who they are currently in the race for top 4 with.

The offside v Brentford, when VAR looked for 3-4 minutes and couldn't see the goalscorer was offsideBrighton could miss out on CL football to Tottenham though who they are currently in the race for top 4 with.

I was amazed, as I though it would be in the VAR panel's interest to take points off Tottenham, must be a closet spurs fan in the establishmentBrighton could miss out on CL football to Tottenham though who they are currently in the race for top 4 with.

I don't watch much PL - I'm a Rotherham fan so will never have to worry!have you actually watched the game hes talking about?
yes fans moan about decisions but this wasnt one decision, this was the 5 or 6 biggest decisions in the game that all went the way of one side and the majority were flat out wrong, to any neutral watching (ok im not totally neutral as an arsenal fan lol) that the officials had a massive influence on the result that they shouldnt have had with VAr allowing them to review decision
