Great ball and skill there from Trent
There's a constant discussion in cricket, do you choose a batsman who can keep wicket a bit or do you choose your best keeper. One argument is the runs are important, the alternative is that the drops and missed stumpings cost more than the runs gained.

The same discussion now applies to TAA. Does he create more goals than he costs? For a few years he was in credit but this season...................

Well hell of a game. Prob a fair result in the end. Stunning saves from Ramsdale at the end - game seemed to woken up the Chelsea fans

wow just wow, what a finish

Brilliant from Ramsdale at the death, and even then we couldve nicked it on the counter, that said we were utterly out on our feet by then

The game. Wow. But Ramsdale?! Phenomenal keeper. How he’s behind Pickford for England I have no idea.

Reds have to be better. The first half was absolutely terrible. Massively hope Arsenal have it in them to hold city off and do it, but they should have been out of sight today.

Enjoyed the second half .
chances both ends,
but thought Artetas subs were a bit defensive and just invited us on.

Out of options, lots of players dead on their feet, and little else on the bench. Prob shouldve gone to Tierney earlier than he did but surprised to see him bring on a 3rd centre half for Odegaard with 10 mins to go.

Anfield really is Artetas kryptonite, today was a day to have broken that too

He’s a poor defender imo.
His reading of the game is shocking.
Given we need a decent midfielder atm I would put him in midfield , he spends most of his time there anyway.

So what’s going to happen to the linesman then

It’s got to be time for Sky to find someone else apart from Neville and Carragher - just awful

Re the linesman...it's got to be verging on a permanent ban.

Re carra and Neville - I've said it for a long time that neither of them should be involved in games that involve their own teams or arch rivals. Both of them are incapable of a balanced view.

Mind you, I think the same thing of many other pundits and commentators... ie Robbie savage involved in man utd games, mcmanaman in pool games etc

I’m not so sure.

Having watched it a number of times it looks very much as though Robertson has approached him and taken hold of his arm. The linesman appears to raise his arm as though to shake himself free of Robertson’s grip.

Let’s be honest, the footage shown to date hasn’t been great, but it does look very much as though there’s a lot of fuss over not very much.

This one is just too far away and doesn’t look like a “throwing of elbow”

This one though

Maybe just me but doesn’t look real
