Nearly £200 million quid spunked on 9 new players to improve the team and yet only one can make the starting line up against Fulham...and that was a 30+year old has been who eventually got rightly hooked after an hour.

Lucky 0-1 (og) win with a possession percentage of 23% (lowest percentage for a prem win this season) I don’t know whether to laugh or cry! 😕
Watched MOTD Sunday earlier and thought there was a distinct handball involved too! Quite puzzled as to why VAR didn't pull it up as didn't seem to be one that 'doesn't count as handball'! Virtually makes WH safe, so all good - as limited likelihood of more points!

The penalty claim when Dunk’s shirt was pulled? I’d really like to see those given but more often than not they are turned down.

But the other one, where the Spurs defender clearly stood on the Brighton player’s foot? I cannot even begin to understand how that wasn’t given. The on field referee missed it from no more than ten yards with nothing impeding his view, and despite that surely being a clear and obvious error he was not then asked to review it. It’s just rank incompetence.
Thought the ref was shocking .
how Hojberg wasn’t sent off is a mystery some really bad tackles.
The Dunk one is a perfect illustration as to why players take a dive as it’s not given if you stay on your feet.!

but the ref had good views of both non pens, so if the same standards are employed in the VAR suite not surprisingly they were not given.

If Refs started giving cards for simulation, it might stop, or at least reduce, the diving, which is obscene cheating imo! There was a classic in the Old Firm match yesterday - that the Ref simply ignored and the player eventually got up and jogged (without any sign of a limp) off!

Players go down because the refs don’t give obvious fouls.
But in this case Dunk stayed on his feet and got nothing!

I agree obvious diving should be carded.

The law changes every month it seems but I think it comes under the category of which phase of the move. It was clearly accidental and it wasn't Coufal who scored. But if the lino had flagged the goal wouldn't have stood, just like Brighton's two yesterday.

Fulham players didn't complain. Silva did but he complains about everything. 😁

We need 2 more wins…where they coming from I don’t know.

One will do imo. Bournemouth seems the likeliest. Perhaps Palace; Brentford an outside possibility at best! 'Nil points' elsewhere! Scoring is the problem!

I really cannot believe how poor Liverpool are compared to twelve months ago. The decline has been absolutely staggering.

Clearly the 7-0 thumping of United was a freak result because their form other than that has been patchy at best. Thirteen points adrift of Champions League qualification, I’m not even sure they’ll make the Europa League.

Going to be a long summer in the transfer market. There’s a lot of work required.

It’s gonna need more than a summer. We’re shocking. Absolutely shocking.

So good for 40 minutes then Xhaka does what Arteta did last year and fires Liverpool and the crowd up, then we concede! Gonna be a long 2nd half without another goal., first 10-15 mins gonna be very lively youd think. Wouldnt object to seeing Jorginho for Xhaka at HT

VVD on Jesus - best centre half in the world they say, couldnt mark him for the goal so tries to kick him out of the game

“They” haven’t said that for a long time!

Arsenals to run away with. They’re light years ahead of us. Better on and off the ball. Tactically aware. Clever.
