But he wins things. It is why Man Utd were absolute fools in waiting half a season to pick a manager, instead of just snapping him up immediately, apparently.
It's the constant bitching and moaning about how the club isn't good enough for his ambitions that annoys me. If spurs were not good enough for conte, why did he agree to be manager, is it because you burnt your bridges at every club you've been at and no-one else was interested because you'd quit after 2 seasons when things did go your way

What has happened to Son at spurs? Looks a shadow of the player from last year. Seems to sitting deeper and deeper with every attack and pretty much walking round the field, energy levels way down on where he was. Is this a "keeping the shape" thing from Conte?

No doubt scores a couple in the second half now lol
We have a manager that stifles individual creativity. Go figure.

Looks like Richarlison is getting the knife out, saying he should have played. Makes me wonder, to be fair. Why buy Richarlison for so much money, and never really play him? I guess he is a guy, like many, who need to play, feel like an important player in the team, to really get the best out of him. Just looking at his minutes played, down the Fantasy Football information for him, it is ridiculous. Exactly what you'd expect from a bit part squad player, maybe someone who came through the academy and will never quite make it as a pivotal part of the 1st 11. Not what you'd expect from a player who just signed for £50m, plus a potential extra £10m add ons. I was surprised that he was "only" earning £90,000 a week, which I think is the same he was on at Everton. Thought he might have pushed for a bumper pay increase when he moved.

Contes refusal to drop an out of form Son has not helped his situation

Richarlison is a player who needs to feel loved. I don't think Conte is that type of manager and so far it has not been a good fit. Considering he had a cracking World Cup Spurs should have been able to tap into that. An odd buy if he was not going to be used.

Hard to say. He's had a few injury problems at awkward times which have stopped him getting a run in the team when he might have done otherwise. He played well in the World Cup, but for us he puts a shift in and is a general nuisance but never really looks like scoring a goal. He only has two and they were in the same game. I know it's not always easy to make an impact off the bench, but you'd at least expect one Premier League goal by now.

We need to part company with Conte and move on I don’t think it matters if he goes tomorrow or the end of season as I can’t see us finishing in the top four.

Poch would be ideal to come back but I don’t know if there’s any chance of that, it’s obvious that we need some fresh impetus at the club.

Get a new manager in and reset.

Richarlison was a strange signing to be fair. If I was in charge, and only knowing the little I do of Spurs as a non fan, if someone gave me £50 million to spend on a forward, Richarlison would seem an odd choice. I'd have thought a better profile of player would be a pacey wide forward, play on the other side of Son, and have 2 players playing either side of Kane.

That being said, there were always likely to be a chance that Kane would move on this summer. Without knowing for sure, and before he signs a new contract, maybe the money would have been better invested in other areas of the squad. Then, if Kane leaves, focus on very good player who could play that central attacking role. I wonder if Kane leaves, will Levy chase Maupay from Everton?

A very strange signing. I said as much at the time.

I think the idea was that Richarlison can play central striker when Kane is injured, as well as playing out wide. But maybe that makes him a Jack of both trades, master of neither. I don't know.

Why on earth would we buy Maupay? Surely criteria 1 would be someone who scores goals?

The betting sites all say the favorites are either Poch or Tuchel

It would be absolute comedy if we went for Tuchel I must admit. Presumably follow that up with Lampard or Potter, or both.

I would be keen to see Poch return. I don't think we were wrong to sack him when we did, he seemed jaded and in need of a break. But ultimately there was a two year spell where he wasn't backed enough by the board, if he was backed like Conte has been, I can see him being a success again. Also, it's the only hope we have of Kane staying.
