Was flicking through the latest guiness book of records and saw a fact that said that in an average persons lifetime over 78 billion golf balls will be made... but over 39 billion will get lost

seems a very low number, 2 to 1.
Wonder if it means lost as in actually lost to the world ie never found or owned by a Human ever again? in that case 39 billion hidden round the planet every 70 years seems a lot:mmm:

By lost they meant in trees hazards bushes etc, doesn't mean they'll never be found again

I hadn't lost a ball since early October untill last Thursday afternoon where i managed to lose 4 in 9 holes !!!
