In view of the amount of interest in this subject I think GM should arrange a custom fit opportunity for forum members, with a full write up and photo feature in GM, and the lucky chosen ones get to keep the tee they've been fitted for.
How about it Mike?
Yea why not
Another great freebie for the London guys.
Whatever you do - stay away from Topflite tees!
Like bricks they are,.. concrete cores with a cling-film thickness coating of urethane disguising them as 'any other normal' tee.... it just isn't so. You'll be lucky to get one airborne out of the ground and they sound really 'clicky'. Bloody brilliant for use as darts though! If you find a stray/lost tee you can pretty much guarantee it'll be a Topflite and not one of the premium brands.
I understand blue tees go to the right, and red are more to the left. You probably need a yellow tee, as they have no idea where they are going. Is the colour of the tees important? I've always used white ones because Tiger does as well. They also match the colour of my ball. Would a different colour reduce sidespin giving me straighter shots?
I use jelly for a tee.
The secret is the timing. You start your back swing on the wobble back, so by the time you follow through you are hitting it on the up.
The trackman jelly maker tool, changes the viscous mix in the jelly, so it matches it to the speed of your swing. I have a 95 mph swing, so the fructose mix is 18.4%, water is 41.2 %. Works for me.
As I'm cack-handed, Strawberry was the pro's advice.
