My wife wants a Hermes ones.. she thinks the current burburry ones are too chavvy..

Ive got a set of those new tees with a tiny transmitter in them so you never have to lose another tee. Bit expensive but well worth it when your playing partners are scouring the tee box for there Pro Tee 1.

I could do with some of those.

I lost one Saturday :(
Checked in the pro shop after the round but no-one had handed it in.

In view of the amount of interest in this subject I think GM should arrange a custom fit opportunity for forum members, with a full write up and photo feature in GM, and the lucky chosen ones get to keep the tee they've been fitted for.

How about it Mike?

That is a SERIOUSLY good idea for next April Fool's edition!!! :D

Do they sell Ping tees? If yes then clearly a fake website.....AVOID!!

Thanks, that's what got me suspicious as I know Ping does not let internet sellers sell their tees without them being customer fitted. And on this site you could just buy Ping tees off the rack.

I'm currently using a broomhandle tee.
Will I be able to continue to use it after 2016 or should i get it cut down to standard length?

Why does it always come down to technology ?
It's all a marketing hype.
I vividly remember golfers 100 years ago used to hit the ball 700yards with hickory heads and twine shafts using nothing but a cupful of sand carefully put in place by the lad I employ to carry my 27 clubs

Games gone to the dogs I say

I was forced to use the new Callaway X hot tees today for my fitting. There was no custom fit option for Ping and it has seriously compromised my decision to get a new set of irons unless this is rectified

I tend to wait until the latest model comes out then I get the one that it has just been replaced by.....saves me a fortune.

TaylorMade have bought out 4 different models this year alone!! T1, T2, T2i and T2-s, It's all hype as I can't see anyone gaining any real yardage.

... and the T2-s is just the T2i with a different (rubbish) paint-job!!! :sbox:

Not true! Garcia has changed to the T2i and has never hit the ball better. He tried one once and they went straight into the caddies pocket.
