Tech in the Basket - anybody bought from them

Am after a new mobile, and whilst googling about, found .. https://www.techinthebasket.com/ ... but wondered if anyone has used them. They state that the phones work in the UK, and that they have a repair centre in Manchester ... and their prices are very competitive against retailers

Trust pilot reviews dont seem overly convincing, uk presence but banking in HongKong and devices bought rarely turn up on time, have bene second hand at times and sometimes arent the uk market model of device you may be expecting. Buyer beware and all that jazz.

You are just buying something from a company based in Hong Kong. Up to you how much risk you perceive this is, or if the ability to buy from a company with a registered address in the UK who will be bound by UK laws in relation to sale of goods is worth any extra cost. Personally I'd not buy from any site without a UK address and poorly worded English on the web site, but I am quite risk averse. And my grammar leaves a lot to be desired. But agree with BIM in that if it is too good to be true, it will be.
