In any stroke play format where you have a single side of 2, 3 or 4 players going out on its own, you just have to accept that there is no external verification of its score and trust the players.
A day of great stableford scores doesn't necessarily mean 'very good golfers' - nor, necessarily, 'bandits'! Just a day of great scoring! Not all that uncommon if conditions are suitable....
Jeez 5th with 106pts must be some very good golfers where you play.
Yep 109 won . Helped there was a 48 and 54 handicap on it thoThat’s almost an average of 3pts per player on every hole.
I found this on the course we played just not possible but they marked their own card ( see other thread) second was 88pts.

Played one recently best 2 from 4= 107 pts we just laughed.
Hi light the rest of the post it explains whyWhy?
2 best on each hole is 2 net birdies, which is quite reasonable from 4 pkayers
That would get you 108
Get some high handicappers and you can see net eagles
As I said in my post on that course on that day 88pts was second???A day of great stableford scores doesn't necessarily mean 'very good golfers' - nor, necessarily, 'bandits'! Just a day of great scoring! Not all that uncommon if conditions are suitable.
I thought he quoted the whole of the post?Hi light the rest of the post it explains why
Yes sorry thought it was part of post 19.I thought he quoted the whole of the post?
That’s right, they are!Yes, we can do the math. And your point is that you don't believe their results and are calling them bandits? Players are expected to play with integrity.
We all know it’s virtually impossible to prove. In a handicapping context, any time there's talk of so and so being a bandit, just say, "OK, give me the evidence and it can be acted on."
