Have you not got the big dogs yet.....if you have you are keeping it quiet.

Wasn't the idea for you to have these before Joe Public?

Is it not a tad frustrating that hunners have theirs in the bag before you albeit not a custom fit job?

The next TM may be released before you get a swipe with yours! ;)

Not got it yet Alan, some guys in my club have them my mate got fitted last week and should have his this week he said,a bit frustrating but not to worry :)

When the TM guys saw the shonky swings on offer, they decided that giving them an R11 wasn't going to be a good advertisement for the club.

sums it up nicely. lol
I think they're hunting around for any spare R3's they can find...... :D

But then they're only a year old so they're still quite new...

Dodger makes a fair point here. Can't help but feel that Taylormade have scored a bit of an own goal here. Notwithstanding the Paul McGinley/Wentworth/free club element to the exercise, it's a pretty poor show that five weeks down the line the guys are still waiting on their clubs, especially when they are readily available in stores across the country.

Er, let's be fair. That is a pretty big element.

I won a magazine comp a couple of years ago that involved a free fitting for Nike fairway woods and hybrid's. Won 3 hybrid's and a 3 wood. Some clubs tuned up inside two weeks, but one of them took nearly 3 months to be delivered.

I dropped the Nike 3 wood after about 6 months and reverted to my old Cobra. I still use the hybrids, but am currently considering a switch because I think the old Baffler they replaced was far better.

Its a freebie, chilax dodger and get that wooden spoon washed and put back in the drawer! :D

This is exactly how I'm looking at it.

Am I disappointed I don't have it yet? Of course I am, but that's only because I *really* want to hit with it again after so long. The fact it's still February and I'm working through swing changes also makes it less of a problem.

I was given the chance to experience something that not alot of people will get to do, AND I'm getting a brand spanking new driver free of charge.

Can't really complain! We've been told that we should have them ASAP.....

But I will be leading the pitchfork and torch lynch mob down to TM HQ in Basingstoke if they don't get a wriggle on! :D ;)

Rumbled...... :D

Shame battle of the big dogs wont be happening tomorrow.I was interested in the outcome.

To be fair, I'm more gutted about this than actually having the club! We all know the R11 would have won though :D
