We had a small holiday in East Sussex a few weeks ago. We stayed in a lovely wooden beach house 100 yards from the beach in Winchelsea.

I have to say it was a fabulous place, loved the beach and Rye is a hidden treasure. Must go back again.

Stayed in a caravan at Winchelsea as a kid and stayed in Rye when I played Lydd. Lovely places both and well worth a visit at any time of year (I actually like it out of season and a bit bracing)
