Such a brilliant day - The Brabazon...

Is £3200 not the price for corporate membership?
No thats 10k.

The new brabazon membership was launched this year. It is a hell of alot of money but you do get all 3 courses for that price and unlimited range balls. I spent £500 on range balls last year too!!!!!

I hope they detailed how they spent £26million as that's an awful lot of money on a golf course that hasn't been completely rebuilt from the grass roots up!

This is what gets my back up. £25 million spent and we still have stones in bunkers, no targets on the range, rubish balls and no compressor to blow your shoes off after a rounds.

But they have stunning carpets in the foyer though??????

They spent 200k on the course's. Focusing on drainage and re modelling bunkers

Our bunkers are miles better than most courses ive ever played mate including The Warackshire Earls course and Whittington, the range balls are Brand new Srixon balls and flew pretty well for me & Mark yesterday. The blower? Yes that is well and truely broken :D

Green side bunkers, great. Fairway bunkers are pathetic.
As for the range balls! They're that bad they have different balls they use for fitting! Whats that telling you? And the fitting balls are still range balls which makes it even worse.

It's a decent course - think PGA could potentially be better

But £3200 ?! As been mentioned Woburn is cheaper for three high quality courses.

We are using Srixon yellow range balls which you will find on most ranges across the country and there is no way they are no way 70% after the distance me and mark where blasting them yesterday. As for the fairway bunkers? Me and Mark where saying how good the fairway bunkers are on the 5th Derby the other day with nice white sand in and not the builders type crap you find on most courses.

I can tell you for certain they are 70% balls as i helped carry the boxes into the range. The white ones you get in with them are the ones they use for fitting. They are 90%.

The yellow ones are also mega soft and spin upwards of 7000rpm off a 6 iron!!!!!!!!

You are a mental case!!!

Ha Ha me and Mark had a short game comp yesterday and I had 5 white balls and he had 5 yellow... I'll have to tell him he was using **** balls

I can't think of another course in west mids /warwickshire that's better than the brabazon, perhaps you could enlighten me 😄

Hmm, so now your shrinking your 'open comment' down to West Midlands & Warwickshire when you previously said "I don't know ANY course that has more than a few good holes?"

As has been mentioned, I would put Beau Desert above the Brabazon, and then I would add Little Aston, Blackwell is very under estimated IMO, I was suitably impressed with Edgbaston which was manicured to a very high standard with some great holes, if I was asked to choose on the day at the Belfry, I'd pick the PGA! Enville is another course I'd prefer to play, in-fact their are many more....but, it depends what you want from the day and whether you are just judging the course alone or the whole package of clubhouse, facilities etc, everyone wants different things out of a 'days golf' which would be a totally different view if looking to join, personally the Brabazon is driven by history and good marketing, which does nothing for me.

You'd rather play edgbaston than the brabazon, I rest my case :)
