My golfing buddy and I were discussing the reason why a golfer has never appeared on Strictly.
Has to be someone who had finished playing but well enough known to be recognised by non golfers.
Suitable candidates were then considered and we thought that Sam Torrance would be the best choice.
What do you think?

Perhaps this sort of post might be suitable for a new Seniors section on the Forum?

Sam Torrance is still playing so that blows that out the window............

seems like a lot of hard work to me. all the practicing !!

if not Monty the John Daly, or Tiger ! some of those costumes would get him interested. Seems to me a bit if fake tan and too much make up would be right up his street.

They say that Jimenez is a really good mover and I know that Howler can shake is thing better than most.
Two possibles there.
Trouble is that they are still competitive and won't give up 10 weeks of thier lives.
Has to be an oldie.

Get Mark Roe on, he can't be any worse at dancing than he is as a presenter / pundit on Sky Sports Golf!

Can't think of one that I'd want to see (male). None would go far. I could be sexist and say there are some females I fancy watching but again there aren't many ladies I could think would want to do it or do it justice

That's it them Laura Davies, Sam Torrance or Ian Woosnam.
I'll tell the producer.

Sam's Mrs used to be an actress/dancer so she could give him lessons.
I was told that she was quite good in some film called Carry on Emanuelle,
