Steve Williams

I saw him swing the bag across his legs last night and then it came to rest on the base, but not flat. He had to adjust it to stop it falling.

Butch went on the shot studio and demostrated he had an 'early release' which caused the bag to settle badly. He said he had a chat with him when they bumped into eachother as the post match press conferences, and he was gonna put some hours in overnight to correct it.

Anyone not sure about early release , forum legend Oddsocks can let you know all about it.

I saw that, to be honest I thought the bag was a bit laid off at the top, the only way he was going to correct that was with an early release.

Oh dear.... the whispers around the locker room is that Steve is not happy and is complaining to the bag manufacturer, Titliest, that this error was due to a faulty carry strap. he has confirmed it wasnt his fault. And if you dont like it you can stick the bag up your bleeep bleeeeeeep...

I love this thread!

Get it in the mag Tiger :whoo:

Stevie's always a threat....specially to anyone talkative or carrying a camera!

Reputedly, John Walker 'earned' more (equivalently) than Stevie in his last year of running - but he was an 'amateur' at the time!

Stevie also excels in a sport that also involves bumping against other competitors - Super Saloon Speedway Racing.

On a positive note: He has created a foundation to assist young golfers and gave NZ$1,000,000 to a Cancer Ward of a specialist children's hospital.
