Thought I would try this ball as in theory it should suit me.

Not really played Srixon balls much the one I have among my practice balls are wither too mushy feeling (Z Star) or too firm feeling (z Star XV).

Teed it up into a strong headwind on Sunday, nailed opening drive and it watched it come up 10 yards short of playing partner which was a surprise. Then smoked a 4 iron that came up short but flew higher than I would like. Chipped and putted and the ball felt nice with all these shots.

Hit a solid drive on 2 and again short of playing partner. Iron into the green and a couple of putts later ball back into bag.

Played the rest of the round with my usual Bridgestone Tour Bxs ( still playing a batch of older models around 2018/19 I think) and immediatley started knocking it past playing partner but more importantly hit it on a much lower trajectory into the wind.

Srixon felt very nice but its not going to work for me if I'm giving up yardage in the wind and seeing a high flight.
