Srixon demo day

I went to the range today and Srixon will be there tomorrow between 4-8, so it would be rude not to go and have a look at there latest offerings.

I will be like a little boy in a sweet shop down there an keeping my hand out of my pocket will be very hard.

Has anybody got any srixon fairways? if so, how do they perform?

I would also be very interested in a Srixon demo day. I have never once hit one of their clubs as they are not very widely available. Reports do inform me some are very good though, and an occasional partner uses a Srixon driver to great effect.

I have hit the Srixon fairways quite impressive too,i have a Srixon driver though which is fantastic best driver i ever had

Never been to a srixon demo day so I'd be interested to here what they have to offer and how they perform.

Are they for the lower H/C player or do they do clubs for all abilitys?

I'm still looking for new sticks so would also love to know how they go.

Went down the range today to try out srixons fairways and was very surprised at how good the gear is.

I also didn't know srixon own cleveland as the rep had a few bags of cleveland stuff too. Callaway were also there.

So i tried the Srixon WR 3wood 14.5* first and what a vey good club it is. Very nice at address and very forgiving, i was regurlary hitting it 180yds+ and on the whole a top club.

Then i tried the cleveland launcher gold 15* which was very similar to the srixon though i was getting a better ball flight and a bit more distance so apart from the poor grip its a big thumbs up for this one.

I never tried any of the other srixon/cleveland gear because i'm easily swayed.

I then tried callaway diablo 15*, what an ugly looking club that is. i only hit a few balls with it and couldn't get on with it so i ditched it.

I also tried the cally FT 15* but it wasn't very forgiving and any poor shots were punished.

I am going to try a few others before i buy but i would recommend trying srixon/cleveland kit if you've never done so before.

Hippy, ive just logged on, it was at TFG warrington next to fiddlers ferry power station.

Cobra are there next month aswell 14th i think.
