Sports Direct Flash Golf Sale...

Had a really nice looking pair of adidas trousers for only £7.50 in my basket, surprised that my size was there, only to spend too long adding in other stuff for my size to no longer be available when I got to checkout!

Still managed to pick up a few bargains though, mainly of stuff that I don't really need of course.

Thanks Amanda, £300+ worth of Adidas trousers, Nike & Ashworth shirts and jumpers ordered for £55

Some items I'd added to my basket the other day are now out of stock so I wouldn't hang about guys unless you're XS or 2XL

Over £1,000 worth of stuff for under £200

Only went for high quality stuff, no dunlop or donnay crap

Very happy thanks for shout out :)

Lol i was only jesting my man.

Thanks for the heads up with the sizing in case i ever buy some clothing in the future.

Just so people kwow. I wear 10s normally in shoes and i own 3 pairs of ashworth shoes and they fit like a glove.

My auntie has 5 legs and her knickers fit her like a glove 🥁

Placed an order yesterday morning for 4 items including shoes. Paid 7.99 for next day delivery.

Got an email today saying shoes out of stock, so they canceled that part of the order. So I sent a swift email to customer services (no phone number) asking to cancel the whole order, as the shoes were the main reason for placing the order. 2 hours later I get another email saying the order has been processed with the shoes omitted. I now have £24 quids worth of goods with an 8 quid delivery charge. Pretty poor, looks like I'm getting a standard delivery when paying for next day, and the main reason for the order is not there.

Had similar myself...the trousers I wanted were gone before I confirmed my order, but went ahead with a few other bits and pieces anyway, then got an e-mail today to say that a jacket was out of stock and being omitted. Was tempted to make contact to cancel the rest, but could just imagine them making a mess of that too so didn't fancy the hassle. Will be interesting to see what I'm actually charged as I used PayPal and currently have two separate transactions pending, and that's before the cancelled item is chopped off!

I ordered to store as I imagined home delivery being a mess also with couriers, so at least I get the delivery charge back in the form of a voucher, but you should def chase them for your 'next day' fee.

People have expectations too high for Sports Direct

You know it is gonna be awful customer service, but it is dirt cheap so have to compromise

I all of my stuff less than 3 days after ordering. A pair of ashworth leather shoes for £20 were my favourite purchase. Absolutely 0 complaints from me

Would you believe they stuffed up my order too! First time I've had issues though. Each day another item has been cancelled as out of stock. Emailed to say either credit the delivery charge or cancel the balance and reply was "we can't cancel as it's with our courier" but no response about £4.99 delivery. Have replied to say "ok but what about the delivery charge" and will see what happens...

Getting what you pay for is expecting to much? Hmm ok
Only bit u have any claim over is the delivery next day charge as they didn't stick to it

If you want to return it you have to pay to return it.. they don't do free returns...

Sports direct strip back customer service and literally give the bear minimum

Refunds in shop are all credit notes they even inform you at the till when buying that if you don't like it you can't have money back only credit. Well within their rights but most companies use good will to wave this..

I wanted this Nike hat from sports direct / direct golf was £7

Went to sports direct no sign of hat

Delivery was £5 negated the saving almost for the hat!

Went direct golf they had it but for £17 I said price match your online store? He apologised when he said he could but u have to pay £5 to get it delivered into store (even tho I had it in my hand) as that's the policy

He was embarrassed

You have to expect this of sports direct it's cheap and cheerful no frills

Like Ryan air as someone said

I got an ashworth jumper and trousers for £20 delivered .. would be £50 in another store so it's a good saving but took a chance on sizes as couldn't return for free

Which colour did you get. I got the red and white. Raging I missed out on some of the others. I already own brown and grey in the same style so knew 10 was going to fit well.

I found some other colours on their ebay store on Sunday night. Ordered and got a refund on Monday morning when they realised they had sold out and not updated the ebay shop. Gutted

All my stuff came and really pleased, decent quality

And it all fits (thanks to whoever gave the headsup on Ashworth sizes) 👍

Adidas trousers £7.50
Nike shirt £15
4 x Ashworth shirts £3 each
2 x Ashworth jumpers £5 each

Plus a few other bits. Absolute bargain

Looks like the prices have up now (Ashworth shirts £20 etc)

Unfortunately I don't trust Sports Direct as every time I pop into a store it comes across as a jumble sale with a load of snide tat on display. Nothing looks quality, even some of the other so-called more quality brands don't look right to me.

I'm a self confessed brand snob, I love Galvin Green and Bunker Mentality and I was even happy with the quality of the Poulter gear, I justify it by the same means that I'm still wearing Stone Island, Lacoste, Armani, Boss clothes that I bought more than 20+ years ago, whereas anything less quality would have been bought 2,3,4 or 5 times more in that period of time.

I like a bargain but if it's not going to last how much of a bargain is it?

I got the all white ones. Slightly different style than the ones your talking about (which were in my basket but I removed). Mine are the Encinitas Tours. They are so comfy. Really wish I’d bought more

why wouldn’t Nike, Adidas, Ashworth stuff not be quality? I tend to agree about the Dunlop stuff but this sale has every golf brand you could basically think off.

bunker mentality, some of the worst stuff I’ve ever worn.
