2008 Octavia vRS in race blue, specced in most of the upgrades.
2004 Leon Cupra tweaked for weekend fun and school runs. as standard (bsck when i bought it new) the wife hated but after I had it upgraded and mapped to stage 2 software, she doesnt want to get rid of it. it really is surprisingly quick.

Just sold my 140 sport passat. It was a minter, but needs must before depreciation sets in. Got a loan of a little run around just now, it's a C3 diesel and I'm getting 58 MPG so far but no room for the clubs, have to put then over the back seat. Still, I'll be back with another passat soon.

Driving a Passat 1.9Tdi Bluemotion at the moment. Company car with excellent fuel consumption. Did Edin - Inverness last week and was getting 64mpg according to the onvoard computer. Big boot and very spacious interior. I would even consider one of my own if I had to buy my own car !

1998 Accord Coupe 3ltr V6.

All reasonable offers considered :p

There again, I don't think that I would be without it at the moment. Enormous boot, plenty of horses under the bonnet, very comfortable and an easy drive.

Old man's car?? Not a bit.

Funny you should mention this particular car. It might be on my shopping list. I'm after a comfy "big-engined" car but don't want to go down the BMW/Audi route.

I've tried a Toyota Camry (not "urgent" enough for me), a Nissan QX (snore, zzz...) and a couple of others.

It's a pity there's no 3 ltr Ford, the Vauxhall offering is the Signum......don't like the look, but will try to track one down nonetheless. Lexus is not my cup of tea, so unless I can find an interesting car, it might have to be the 540i Beemer......

Just sold my Discovery TD5 Auto, loved that car but needed some cash to plough back into my business, after the bank withdrew my overdraft(another story).
Now driving a Saab 9-5 TDI estate, sounds like a bloody tractor but drives well and very comfortable, boot swallows the trolley and bag no problem.
Wifes got a Mini nice little car drives well and good fun.
The Discovery replaced a BMW 320D worse car I have ever owned! Drivers cars, what rubbish, drive over a fag packet and it jumps all over the road, kept it 6 months and it had to go,first and last BMW. :(
Can`t believe BMW build the Mini I rather drive that than 320,
Had 120D on loan while mini was in for a service, and that was bloody awful as well, god knows why people buy them.
Only my personal view, I know a lot love them, but not for me!

Can you be more specific, or just didn't like the RWD?

I've done a lot of driving in my 320d and it goes around bends in a totally different way to both my FWD cars.....faster, but 100% more scary!!!

It jiggles, I agree, but I do trust it and haven't lost it yet!! You should try a Toyota Supra (1993? on), get on the gas too soon on a roundabout and end up facing the way you came!!! You should also try a Caterham..... :)
