My Alfa I have at the moment (156 1.8 T-Spark Veloce, Momo Leather etc) is a proper weapon.

It goes round corners like it is on rails, very very impressive handling and performance to match in terms of power/weight.

Only criticism is that it is FWD which when you are pushing it very hard, there is a lot of understeer, lift off and it becomes a very dicey lift-off oversteer moment which can catch you out.

Never liked Alfa's, took this in P/X and immediately commandeered it as my smoker, I really do have a soft-spot for it.

Still love my C230K

Straight "6" with a super-charger?

Hmm, could be worth a look.....how are they for reliability....better than BMW?

It is a 4-pot actually Dave.

Relaibility = Unbreakable.

Mine has done a shade under 160,000 miles and is still driving like new, it was doctor owned and has FSH.

I really do like it, it is as rare as hens teeth and just feels like an extension of me when Im "on it".

Mine is a 1999 C230Kompressor Sport Auto, showing the usual MB rust although due to be stripped and fully re-painted soon.

Gave under £1k at BCA for it.

Was a complete bargain.

A 2009 Mercedes Benz 311 CDi LWB High Roof, in White. It's got loads of room in the back for my clubs and trolley.

The Mrs drives a Fiesta, it's still too big for her though !

i drive a honda civic type r . . . . and i love it :D

New or old Model? I want a Type R, I think the older model is probably my best option but the new one is soooo tatsy.

I drive a silver Skoda Fabia Vrs

Get an average of 50 MPG. Can get 500 miles out of a full tank and it is 'pokey' :D Only costs £112 for the year to tax.

Ste I think the newer model looks better, I didnt at first but I seen a white one whith white wheels in the dealership. Much nicer than the old one.

I dont think the Old one has much going on on the outside, bit like my furby, but the inside is cool, bit like my furby :D

2008 Octavia vRS in race blue, specced in most of the upgrades.
2004 Leon Cupra tweaked for weekend fun and school runs. as standard (bsck when i bought it new) the wife hated but after I had it upgraded and mapped to stage 2 software, she doesnt want to get rid of it. it really is surprisingly quick.

Brendy is this the 170ps 2.0 D engine?

I have a Focus c-max just now but I am thinking of going back to Octavia 1.9 turbo diesel I had last. The focus has served me well, zero probs and great useability but I do miss my old Octavia estate.

Citroen C3 1.6 HDI - perfect for kids who can't drive, has enough poke to keep me interested, does 60mpg, costs £35 a year to tax and, against the run of play, ultra reliable - and I'm on my 3rd......

Dave!! MR2 mark 1.....more fun than most......classic car now for sure.....

True, but you wouldn't want to go far in one. You're sitting with the engine which really starts to use it's voice at about 70. No power steering, no aircon, no goodies at all. Much prefer the Jag.

Loved my X300 XJ-Sport, Straight 6.

Used it at my wedding last year and it really was a boyhood dream come true.

Was on a P and only had 52,000 miles with full jag history.

Actually sold it to my pro, and regretted it ever since.
