What do you obsess over?

When I played squash one of our opponents from a nearby club would constantly change hands throughout a rally. He was difficult to beat because everyone focussed on it and was unnerved by it. Consequently he didn't have a backhand shot and the way to beat him was to put him in a situation where he needed one.
Hard work though.
One of my golf partners switches to left hand around and on the green. The number of times I've seen his ball tight to a tree and thought "Ha, get out of that!" only to see him pull out his left handed club. 🙄
I've played with at least four different players at my club who swung right-handed but putted left-handed. I figure it's a solution to the yips of some sort. Or they just tried it and it felt better - but I don't know what would compel you to try putting the other way if not the yips.

Left footed - played left back close on 30 years. Predominantly right handed but there are several things I do left handed, e.g. snooker & dealing cards. But not ambidextrous, i.e. those thing I do left handed I can’t do right handed.
You Sound like me .
Right hand , golf , throw , bowl,hammer, tennis
Left hand, Write, snooker, saw, guitar , plane
I’m a joiner and it comes in handy sometimes 😂

I don't believe I have any tidiness obsessions apart from that I like some sort of order to my clubs in the bag.

But some choices I have made over the years seem quite odd to relatives, friends and acquaintances. They have told me so.
These behavioural choices are mainly things that I do not do rather than things that I do.
I do not think of them as obsessions, but others seem to think that they are.

No clothes made of denim after age of 29. (that's 36 years denim-free)
No milk in tea or coffee, but I drink milk. (no sugar in either beverage either. If visitors ask for sugar, the only thing we might have is raw cane or molasses)
I'm partial to all sorts of alcohol beverages, but I do not drink lager.
No butter or margarine on bread, unless its the only thing going on the bread. I don't like the taste of butter on cheese, or butter on jam, or butter on bacon, etc.

I've not made any decision regarding crocs. Simply never worn any - yet.
🤪🤪🤪

(Fairly useful with my slightly weaker left foot, so was often left back or left midfield)

I am pretty obsessive about litter. Age 13 I was on a school cruise to the Baltic and visited Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki and Leningrad. Coming from a very grubby and very graffiti'd Glasgow of the early 1970s I couldn't believe how clean and tidy these cities were. So taken aback was I that I vowed that I'd never again drop any litter - and to this day if I have dropped anything that I haven't then immediately picked up then it would only be because I couldn't.

Indeed as my half mile walk into town is along roads that are usually pretty tidy - if I see any litter I willl pick it up and carry it to the next bin I come to. I can't pick up everything but I know that if I do my bit then that'll stop me being irritated by the litter and litter-droppers, and with life as it is these days I can do without carrying around any irritations or angers that I can deal with on the spot and discard.

This can at times be a bit of a nuisance - if I walk past some litter and don't pick it up, my head will often tell me to go back and do what I know I must do - and I will.

I don't like clutter in the house and I will action all to ensure there is none!

Things must be put back after use or how they found it.

Must have a clean car!

When I drive or walk, I must do the route that is the most efficient and not end up in "knots".

I am a magpie - I like shiny new things!

Like someone else said, I always put my left trainer/shoe on first, same with socks. Always left first.

For golf I always have green, red, light blue, navy, white, pink and orange tees, ball marker and pitch repair in my right pocket. Very rarely use the blues or white tees!
